My first two years of Christianity I wanted to be used by God everywhere, and he did. Now I am going through a phase to take care of myself, and not be so focused on helping everyone, since I kinda died to myself, but then realized my business suffered. Is it cool to now focus on myself and my business before ministry?

Even Paul worked as a tentmaker while traveling across the Middle East.

If you are transitioning from one phase of ministry to another, then it is okay.

If you have doubts, pray about it. You know the answer.

Jesus did not minister to everybody he saw all the time. At the Beautiful Gate, the lame beggar was there when Jesus passed by, yet, it took Peter and John to get his attention so that he could be healed.

Balance your work with your desire for ministry.

Perhaps your business is part of your ministry.
I believe that God created each of us with a mission and often the jobs we take are part of living out that mission.

I would look at the possiblity that your business and your ministry are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
