Yes, we are admonished to do so in the bible in several places. For example,
Then how do we answer the question posed:
Act 8:27 And he rose and went. And there was an Ethiopian, a eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure. He had come to Jerusalem to worship
Act 8:28 and was returning, seated in his chariot, and he was reading the prophet Isaiah.
Act 8:29 And the Spirit said to Philip, "Go over and join this chariot."
Act 8:30 So Philip ran to him and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and asked, "Do you understand what you are reading?"
Act 8:31 And he said, "How can I, unless someone guides me?" And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
(ESV Translation)
Someone must guide persons through the doctrine of the bible. The book is full of hard sayings that are easily misunderstood. Anyone that spends any time in this forum can see ample evidence of this fact.
People are alienated when the enthusiastic for their faith violate the biblical admonition to share our beliefs in the proper manner:
1Pe 3:15 but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you;
1Pe 3:16 yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

We should always be polite. Remember there are things in the Bible that can be contradictory. Unless you have received some instructions from a person who knows Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic you have to be careful in telling someone else they are wrong.
I pesonally don't believe in Sola Scriptura. That is if it isn't in the Bible it isn't true. You cannot find the doctrine of Sola Scriptura in the Bible. Oh maybe someone can find something that implies that but I have never seen it. I accept tradition and I believe Scripture is the kernel of Christian tradition.
I have read the KJV as well as the American Catholic Bible.
The English language has absorbed many other languages. Some say it is a mongrel language.
That is why we might have one word that might have more than one meaning according to how it is used and several words that mean the same thing.
So we have to be careful about assuming what we read in an English translation is exactly what the original intended.
Contesting with someone too often is very bad Christian behavior.

However, the first Christian (presumably you), would have to be sure that his interpretation of the word of God was absolutely correct and applicable.
Unless you are a Biblical scholar that can quote the original Aramaic and Greek words that the Bible was written in, then anything you quote in English is merely a translation, and the precise wording may have gotten lost or muddied in translation. Therefore, you have to allow for some small differences in translation, interpretation, and opinion.
For example, the commandment "Thou shalt not kill" seems rather straightforward, but is so general that it allows for a great deal of interpretation. There is nothing else in that section to clarify if you should kill people, mammals, fish, plants, bacteria, or figurative intangibles, so it is open to debate. So all you could do in this case is offer YOUR interpretation, and listen to what other people think it means, and simply accept that God's word here is unclear... perhaps purposely so.

You are confused, dear one. We are Christian Jehovah's witnesses, just like the Baptist call themselves Baptist after John the "baptizer." Christians--Jehovah's witnesses are one and the same. Jesus Christ ordered us to "go out and preach by two's..." and that is what we do. We preach the good news about Jehovah God's incoming Kingdom. Many will and have, listened--but some will proudly refuse. Then when they tell us they are not interested, and not to call we will comply. "How will they hear without someone to preach?" We regret that. but will move on to the next house.

You need to be careful. In R&S I believe that Christians often do more damage to their cause than Athiests do.
Many beliefs are actually based on the same pricnipal and people are not picking fine areas.

Absolutely.
The Christians, especially in R&S, should 'police' the other "Christians".
It'd do their image no end of good.
Chances are, they'd come in for a lot less criticism, too.
After all, it's their negative behaviour that attracts negative comments towards them.
If they took a more active stance againt the hate spreaders among them (instead of invoking Divine retribution, blaming Satan, or simply ignoring it), they wouldn't have to resort to writing whiny tracts about how everyone's so mean to them.

Galatians 6:1
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

yes we should go to then show them they fault I think when we over looked and not mention or pretend we don't see the transgressing of a Christian we fail them and god . example I knew a Christian woman in minstery who were worship leader and a minister she treated her husband like crap lower than a earthworm, smoke drink , and he hung in the street every night leaving house sometimes at 12 am but church members and family knew this for a fact let they choose to turn a blind eye make her think its was ok and they were right . I felt they should have been taken down and church leaders show have had a conversation instead of not wanting to offend. husband got tired of this divorced she had no job was left in despair they and they blamed the husband for not wanting to put up what that I think as Christians if we see our brothers and sisters in the wrong we should approach them in love and tell them what they are doing is wrong instead of acting like we don't see it I believe its not pleasing to god

If two people believe that their religion is correct and they're differences. Both have scriptures to back what they say. Which one is correct? Could God acknowledge both since both are seeking God. Or does it have to be only one religion? God said "He that is not against me is for me."

This takes a wisdom from God. Yes, you should within the understanding of the spirit. After all we are not the Holy Spirit and we do not need to do His job.
