I don't know very much about science, but I've seen how destructive fire can be. In cremations a whole body is gone in just a few moments.

So, my guess is it won't be my body burning in hell. But what then? My so called 'soul' ? Can a 'soul' burn? And if it can, can that really burn for eternity? Is that scientificly tested at any point ?

I saw in the Bible something about gnashing teeth. Could it be that the fire will just reduce me to teeth? Cause that actually sounds like kinda fun.

You are so much fun! Why did the carriage turn into a pumpkin? Because the pumpkin is all powerful & wanted to send the carriage to the lake of fire. (Also, Cinderella was BAD, & needed to be punished.) Hmmm...but then, she MUST have repented because she got the prince...I'm having some problems here. Got it! We die because we sin. We ALL die. Logical conclusion, we are ALL SINNERS. But then, if we repent, we go to heaven--I wonder, did Cinderella REPENT? No I'm starting to gnash MY teeth. Oh, Lucky Fo was SO funny!!.

The lake of fire means the second death....the second death is final...which means there is no coming back from there. Even hell is thrown into the lake of fire. So logically if hell is a burning place and it is thrown into a burning place...it must mean total destruction.

The first death is when people are born...live their lives and die...then they will be resurrected in God's own due time on the last day. They will be given a chance to worship Jehovah God, the almighty, (PS 83:18) and learn to do his will. If they pass this test they will be allowed to live forever. If they fail the test they go to sleep for the 2nd time in death...and then death and hades will be annihilated...

God made Adam, Adam became a living soul. The bible also tells us that the soul that is sinning will die. We all sin so we all die.

The soul is you. When you die the memory of you goes back to God so he can resurrect you.

The wicked fight against God, they know they are wrong. Even the angels believe in God and shudder at the outcome they know is coming.
And when wicked mankind realizes they will be destroyed they will gnash their teeth they will be so mad. But it will be a done deal.

Wouldn't it be a good thing if everyone straightened up now...served God together in the way he wants and obeys his command?

It was done in the city of Ninevah with Jonah...the whole district repented and turned around.
They were all spared.

There are people who have experiences of hell. Do a net search. As far as the lake of fire goes, that is the second death. And no one is in there yet. The first ones in is the beast & false prophets. (That is what Jesus thinks of the beast & false prophets.)

There are different places people go after living on this earth. The body dies & returns to dust. The soul goes where ever God puts them. A place of rest, or hell, and there are different levels of hell. Then for those born of His Spirit, cleaned by His blood, joint heirs with Jesus, part of the family of God, their soul/spirit goes to heaven until resurrection day & then they are raised up an everlasting body, soul, spirit to go to heaven to be with the Lord.

Also, different levels of hell. Hell is separation from God. Some have knashing of teeth, outer darkness, no living water, fires of hell, etc. So, there are different places/ levels people go.

it is ludicrlous while you're taking those scriptures actually. for this reason the Bible is so puzzling to understand and additionally why there are maximum of distinctive church homes. The Bible is stuffed with tremendously much each and every sort of speech idioms, it is not even humorous. you will locate, figures of speech, innuendo, allegory, symbolism, etc. just to call some. and each so often it is puzzling to understand which of those is getting used; and while a element would desire to be taken literal. and not utilising the excellent one to interpret the scriptures will consequence in fake effect of the Bible. interior the case of while the scriptures are relating a lake of fire, it is symbolic of someone's techniques afflicted by psychological soreness. that's one in all the main devastating of all punishments. i could far incredibly go through dying by ability of fire than stay endlessly afflicted by psychological soreness. merely think of you have gained the genuine Gospel from God and you recognize previous all doubt that it is genuine and you recognize how happy you may desire to be and you knowingly turn it right down to spend your existence searching for exhilaration. The soreness you're able to be stricken by for eternity could by no ability end. Your techniques could actually appear like being in a lake of fire! and there is not any longer something that would desire to alleviate that torment!

Hmm... specific verse leaves mind, but the Bible does state that body and soul will suffer, just as those who have a relationship with Jesus are promised to have a new, perfect body, those who are to becondemned to Hell will have a body that will be mad to suffer forever and ever, I suggest you read a book called 23 Minutes In Hell, it gives many scriptural references to how hell is. I suggest you read it or at least look at it in a bookstore.

Your very good questions reveal the truth that nobody burns in hell.
There is no fire in hell and even if there was, nothing can burn forever.
I was saddened to read:
"I saw in the Bible something about...."
With all due respect, that's dangerous.
Please don't take up the habit of scanning a few words and drawing any conclusions.
That's how errors are made.

The old testament was written by and for people who think in pictures. Not scientists or even Greek-based logical thinkers. They saw things like dreams. It was illustrating a concept for them in pictures. If we totally understood God, it wouldn't be from GOD. Also, we are triune beings, made in God's image. We have a soul, a spirit and a body. The body is apparently the only thing we leave behind. The rest of us is eternal (no end in sight until time ends).

Heh hee..( sorry, cannot help it )

I believe hell is going to be done with and heaven is forever. I do not believe that anyone is going to burn forever, but I believe that there is going to be gnashing of teeth. If one does not have teeth, I am sure they will be provided ; )

Well, in crematoriums, the only thing left are usually a few teeth... So perhaps so??

Seeing as s soul does not possess a brain, it cannot possess the ability to feel anything. So, it will not have the ability to experience burning, which only happens to material objects.

Only physical matter burns. When you leave the physical plane (Earth) you will have no physical body

There is no literal lake of fire. The lake of fire is symbolic, representing the subconscious mind's area of repression, the "id".
