Honestly, even you have some spare junk (I do at 150 lbs) a hip tattoo will look good. It looks worse on skin and bones women, and more painful because a tattoo only hurts really bad when the needles are hitting bone.
Go for it.

Everyone has hips and you don't have to be skinny to put tattoos there. Tattoos are not really specific to one body type, its all personal choice.
If you want a hip tattoo, then get one.

Fat people can have tattoos too, that's not an issue.
Unless you want to get it on a visible hip bone, then you must be skinny enough for the bone to protrude.
I would say you have to be skinny enough that your stomach fat rolls don't cover the tattoo

Thanks, I'm a bbw and I plan on getting a hip tattoo. It doens't matter how much your bones do or don't stick out when you get a tattoo. It's a personal preference, I have no problem with my size and where I get my tattoos, I have body confidence.

I'm def. not "skinny" and I have a hip tat. I think it looks absolutely fine as does everyone who has seen it.

i don't think there are weight requirements for tattoos. you can weigh 350lbs and get a hip tattoo if you want to. don't get tattoos for other people, get them for you.

fat can have tatts, but you sound very thin....no worries. I was worried about that when I got mine. I am 5'7" and 135. I am ok with showing my stomach sometimes, and my tattoo looks cute. Go for it.

I don't think it matters because who will see it but you will unless you have a small top on then every one will see it

Skin is skin and tattoos are tattoos, slimness shouldn't matter if you want one.
