There are more than one thyroid disease. Each has its own set of symptoms. If you have thyroid disease that's severe, it can cause severe health problems. No, they're generally not curable, but they are treatable. You can find great information at http://www.thyroid-info.com
Good luck.

Your thyroid is one of the glands God us for a specific reason. Luckily He also gave us the knowledge to make meds that will take care of an over/under active thyroid. Goiters and/or 'bug eyes', as well as a change in weight can all be attributed to a thyroid condition. Today, it is hardly 'dangerous' if you see a doctor and follow the prescribed course of medication. So smile and have a good day...He loves you! God bless.

If you know you are a thyroid patient, then you got that diagnosis from a doctor, and it is the doctor who should answer those questions for you.
If you do not have a medical diagnosis....do your own homework.
