It's really sore... it's in my hip, and the only thing my Dr gives me is painkillers. I'm way too young for a hip replacement, which I wouldn't want yet anyway. I also take cod liver oil for it, and am on the waiting list for physiotherapy. Anything else I can do... I'm fed up with limping around like someone 3 times my age!

I have has same for 15 years now and I am still on painkillers but unfortunately they dont work quite as well as I would like. Gentle exercise is good either in the swimming pool or the gym, it helps me anyway.

Imagine for a moment your arthritis completely vanishing right now.

If, in a moment, your pain and stiffness melted away. And your joints all of a sudden functioned like a well-oiled machine.

Like a magic wand was waived, you'd be able to jump up from your chair and run around the room like a kid.

And imagine that you'd never have to suffer as much as a pinch of arthritis stiffness or pain ever again.

I know this sounds impossible right now, but bear with me, because sometimes miracles happen.

It was a gift from a woman on the other side of the world. From the kindness of her heart, she took pity on my suffering and taught me how to completely reverse my arthritis.

Today, I want to do the same for you!

Do you take any Calcium?Consider Absorbing Calcium with vit D must be D3 this is the absorbable D your body needs. And you must SERIOUSLY Consider the type of SHOES you are wearing on a DAILY basis.Any type of dress wear shoe is VERY BAD for your entire body because it DOES NOT PROTECT you from any SHOCK as your feet+body weight impacts the ground and even more of a drag your Athlectic SHOES may not be protecting you either.Pull out the insert and press your fingertips inside the TOEBOX and where your HEEL rests,How does this feel? Is it soft and pillowy to your fingers? You may need to get a new shoe all together...Should you find any soft and pillowy shoes pleez let me know.I have yet to find any here in Columbus,Oh.You could try the many inserts on the market they may help you for a bit until you can find something better.Oh, there is this NEW JOINT THERAPY OTC that Promises to reduce the pain and return flexibility its called:Joint MD,I found it in our local WALMART.I can't say it works because I hate pills and the pills are hugh and you must take 2 per dose 2x's a day, thats alot for me but it says in 2weeks you will see a difference and claims300% faster then those others suggested...That plus calcium and D3 plus good shoes you may just feel great!

Exercise
If possible, exercise regularly. This helps to strengthen the muscles around affected joints, to keep you fit, and to maintain a good range joint movement. Swimming is ideal for most joints, but any exercise is better than none. Many people can manage a regular walk.

take a look at this web site which has some good advice

There are a couple of things you could do...First, if you are overweight, lose some weight (putting extra weight on the already damaged hip joint makes things worse). Second, you can increase the strength of the muscles surrounding the hip joint by means of exercise; swimming would be ideal for you since it places no stress on the hip joint. Of course having a well balanced diet is also desirable....

By the way you didn't mention anything from your past medical history. Maybe there is something predisposing you to the development of such a problem; as you already mentioned, this is not a common problem in individuals your age...

Ask your doctor about "Joint Juice". They sell it at Costco. I believe it has the ingredients suggested above. They are always giving samples of it at the Costco near my house. Arthritis CAN happen at any age and isn't always caused by weight. Everyone always blames that! A friend of my mom's had arthritis when she was 14 and she was not heavy at all.

Try DRibose. I have fibromyalgia along with osteo arthritis. DRibose helps to lower pain in all sorts of pain problems. It can be found in nutritional health stores, its used by professional athletes for muscle recovery. Its also used by heart surgeons for their patients recoveries. Its the "D" in your DNA.

I have it in my back and I'm 42.
I find that swimming helps strengthen the muscles without causing pain.
I dont know if this would help with your hip though.
