Exercise and good rest each night.
Positive "self-talk:" I don't need/want to drink right now because I like who I am the way I am.
Keep yourself around positive people who genuinely like YOU and are supportive of your efforts. "Hey, don't open that beer - let's go for a walk instead."

I've never heard of anyone managing weight through alcohol.
(Well, some people might just puke their food back up - and voila, no weight problems, though the stomach acid will eat the enamel off of their teeth eventually).
Stress - a lot more people do drink to relieve stress - and then wonder why their life sucks when all they ever do is get drunk.
Weight and stress are both best handled by routine exercise. You will feel and look a lot better, which will have an amazing impact on your outlook.
I work out regularly - though when extremely stressed a little J now and again never hurts.

That's a lot of weight to lose at such a young age, but if you feel really strongly about it I would advise you to play a team sport that involves training, that way if you start to feel like you can't be bothered anymore you will have an obligation to do it for your team, it would also be a lot more fun doing it with other people. With the food plan instead of having a set number of calories try eating on a smaller plate (it actually helps because you will automatically take smaller servings) or just generally cut down a little on your servings. A quick warning is that if you go from eating a lot to just 1500 calories then your body will think that there isn't enough food around so if you suddenly decide to give up and eat a lot again your body will make an effort to store all the fat just in case "you can't find any food" again and you will end up weighing more than you did in the beginning.

Well, you have a few options. There is hypnosis, which some people think is bull but others swear by. Growing up, my mom was a certified hypnotherapist and she helped a lot of people quit smoking, increase study habits, and lose weight (which she managed to do through hypnosis as well). Here is a link to check out a credible hypnosis site. It may seem ridiculous, but it really does work.

There's also traditional cardio and weight exercise programs you could try. Here is a link to an exercise program:

And some people just diet well with a small balance of exercise. Here is a link to read information on this gentleman that claims to have lost 28 pounds in three weeks. He has real testimonies and you can find information on him if you Google him too.

I think all of these could be really good options for you. In all honesty, and depending on what kind of person you are this could sound ridiculous to you (because some people say it's useless without ever trying it), if you're trying to relieve stress as well, hypnosis is probably your best option. I have used it for several things. When you get up from a session you feel so relaxed and calm. I really do think that could be a great option for you.
I hope this helps you! =)

you can try working out to relive stress, or doing something you enjoy. And make sure you make time to do it everyday or so
