I've always enjoyed sleeping, but as of the last 3 or 4 months, I can't seem to get ENOUGH of it. I find myself very tired at work, and napping every chance I get. Also, I have had a persistent headache for the last 10 days. I will typically wake up with it (not too bad), then it will go away for the day, and return later in the day, full force. I'm not very stressed out - I'm only 21 years old. Lately, there's been a bit of a cough as well, but no sore throat. mono tests came back negative. For the past few months, I have been visiting the chiropractor, and getting neck/back adjustments, but I don't want to put the blame on her just yet. I have full confidence in chiropractors. So what do you think this could be? Hormonal headaches? lights/computer screen at work? I eat very healthy, but don't exercise as much as I should. Any suggestions from those of you, who have persistent headaches, and don't want to live on Tylenol for the rest of your life?

your symptoms are too generalized to be able to make any kind of guess as to what is going on....suggest that a mono screen was inadequate and that you should probably have a full physical with a chemistry panel and toxicology screen. When generalized non-specific symptoms interfere with the daily functions of your life...it's time to find the root cause and make sure it isn't physical. Your next step then would be to consult a homeopath or a therapist. Good luck.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at
