first off you are going to have to go to a store, because there is nothing in an average folks house that will suit the needs of kittens. whatever you do- DO NOT feed them cows milk. cats are extremly lactose intolerant and at that younge of an age, you just might kill them with it. it causes diearhea that leads to cramping, and major dehydration. you are going to have to go to the pet store and get them kitten milk formula. they sell it completely premade in cans or powder where you create the miz by adding water. the powder is usually cheaper but you have to make sure you do it right. and also, you will need to buy a kitten/small animal feeding bottle. and if you can't take care of them....you may want to find a local shelter or spca that will for you.

Are you sure the mother is gone? Were they in a well hidden spot or just out in the open? Make sure she is not comming back before you take them.
Then First off... NO human milk. They will starve to death on this even if they are eating it because it is COMPLETLY devoid of all the nutrients a kitten needs. You need KMR to feed them for now.
But the best thing you can do is call your local shelters and see if they have a nursing mother that could adopt them so they could be raised by the correct species.
Not only will you have to feed them every 3 hours round the clock until they are older, you will have to help them pee and poop after every feeding. The mother licks thier geenitals to help stimulate this. You will need to use a warm wet cotton ball or cloth to stimulate thier elimination.
You need to keep them warm as well.
Lastly, read these sites if you can not find a nursing mother cat to adopt them and you have to keep them.

Do not touch them!! It's probably too late, so you have to go to the store. Call your vet for advice on your cell phone while you are driving to the pet store. Buy some KMR, there is dry what you mix with water and canned that is ready-to-use. Buy a couple of small syringes without needles for feeding (they are available at any pharmacy.) Warm the KMR a little bit by putting the filled syringes in warm tap water. Gently pick the kitten up and put the tip of the syringe carefully into the corner of it's mouth. Just squirt a drop or two into her mouth to acclimate her to the taste, and hopefully she will like it. You will have to feed them every 3-4 hours. Also, after they each eat, you have to get them to potty. This is done by getting a cotton ball damp with warm water, and gently rubbing the baby's anus with it until it goes. It will likely be blackish and thick. You have to do this after you feed, since they do not know how to do it on their own. Hopefully your vet has told you where to take them by now...it is a lot of work, and many times the survival rate is not high. Depending on their age, they might be OK. Call the humane society to see if they have any nursing momma cats there who could help foster the babies...Good luck!

Sorry but you are going to have to go to the pet store or vets.
The kittens need proper formula, you can just give them cows milk, it will make them sick and it does not have the proper nutrition that kittens need.
If you can't get kitten formula, most pet shops and supermarkets (in the pet food aisle) should have "cat milk", specially formulated milk that has not lactose and extra vitamins and minerals.
I still think you (and the kittens) are best off seeing the vet. This way the kittens will grow healthy and strong.

Call your local Humane Society or SPCA, they may be able to put you in touch or perhaps have a cat on the premises who can foster and feed the kittens.
DO NOT feed the kittens cows milk. Much to peoples surprise, cats are lactose intolerant. The kittens will get diarrhea and that is life threatening for such young babies.

Take them to a no kill shelter. They might have a nursing cat that could feed them. DO NOT GIVE THEM COWS MILK!!!!! Alot of cats are lactose intolerant and will get upset tummies is you feed then milk. They also have kitten formula at petsmart and feeding syringes. If you do not want to spend money on these kittens then you have to take them to someone who will. Kittens need more then just food. Please give them to a rescue that will be able to provide for them.

do not feed them milk . cats are lactose intolerant and you will kill them if you use cows milk..
try kitten glop..
unflavoured gelatine
egg yolk
plain live yogurt
mayo
syrup or honey
evapoorated milk
dissolve 1 pkt gelatine and 1 tb;'s syrup in a cup of bouling water
mix together
2 egg yolk's
2 tbl's yogurt
1 tbl mayo
1 cup of evap milk
aftermixing add the gelatine and syrup
you can feed it to the kittens warm with a droper or when it sets squirt little bits into their mouths..If they are old enough they may even lap it up themselves..
very young kitten less than 44 weeks old will need feeding every two hours day and night.. no more than 5mls at a time.. keep them warm do not try to feed a cold unresponsive kitten as you could drown it..
good luck

You can't give them milk. Cat's lack a certain enzyme that breaks down milk. It will make them sick. What you have to give them is something called KMR. It's Kittens Milk Replacement. You can buy it at your local pet store. If you can't get it then I would call the SPCA or the Humane Society and see if they would take them. Most of the time they will place them in foster care.

How do you know she left them? Mother cats (especially if outside) will have to leave sometimes to look for food.
Regardless of that, they need KMR formula and need to be bottle fed. They also need to go to the vet to get a clean bill of health before they get adopted because they could be carrying a disease or parasites.
As stated above, if they are real young and not ging to the bathroom, they need to be stimulated "down there" to go. I reall suggest calling a cat rescue and have someone take over.

You could try warm milk, but the best thing would be to get them a formula. When the kittens are that young they need a special kind of nutrient that is not in regular milk. You also need an eyedropper to feed them the milk.
