it might be logical for that person, but it really hurts the people who do understand especially if the person who cant understand it is trying to convince the person that its not real, when the believer knows that it is...

Oh by the way, logic is not only a requirement for athiests... I've been a logical thinker my entire life, and I'm Christian and proud of it.

People dismiss anything they dont understand. Like when you cant comprehend a persons actions, we call them "crazy" or they have "mental problems". Dismissing the unknown is a way to feel more comfortable within ourselves, and EVERYBODY does it. Christians especially. I am a true believer in Christ, but i also see the hypocrisy in my own churches. This does not sway my faith because my relationship with God doesnt depend on the next man. Christians have a habit of dismissing atheists because they cant understand a life without God and atheist do the same because they cant understand a life with Him.

If I don't understand, am clueless no matter what the subject if it really affects my life or if I am truly interested I try to learn about the subject. I don't need to prove or disprove everything in my life to be able to accept it either. Some "proofs" cannot be validated. I try to respect all points of view even if I AM clueless or suspicious of the conclusions given to me.

People didn't understand gravity for centuries, Didn't stop it from happening, how many people understand Quantum Physics?- answer - no-one fully. So i don't know if your thinking about the existence or non-existence of God, but just because it requires faith in either thing, doesn't make it right or wrong. that's a silly answer, but I've got to say its a matter of faith, with your own interpretation of the available evidence.

If you do not or cannot understand then it is right to treat it as unknown.
However do not confuse 'not understanding' with understanding and rejecting because it makes no sense.
I am an atheist because the supposition 'that god exists' makes absolutely no sense. It actually detracts from the human ability to deal with the world.
However, if it gives you joy then fine.

Every religion has some good to it. Learn to see other religions for their good rather than their bad qualities.
Do not dismiss the beliefs of other faiths automatically. Try and learn what other religions have to say. Relate this to your own beliefs.

Well that depends. You can look for evidence if it sounds reasonable. But if on investigation you don't find any, then yes it is logical.
If it doesn't sound reasonable or you don't find evidence, then let whoever is claiming it try to find the evidence. If they can't, then it is even more logical.

One must understand something before it can be set aside or disproved. One must evaluate evidence as a criterion for ascertaining the value of an idea.
This is one thing that creationists don't seem to get.
