The bible says that homosexuality is immoral am i right? Thats why most people oppose it correct? Well doesnt the bible also say that divorce is immoral and it was not condoned in biblical times. Also doesn't the bible also support slavery which is illegal now. Finally in biblical times wasnt poligamy very popular if any one even had the thought of having more than one wife now they would be a sick freak right? if those things have been out lawed or accepted what is wrong with homosexuality?

Yes the bible say Homosexuality is wrong.
Divorce is immoral, though there were a few reasons listed in the bible for a divorce to be issued...such as unfaithfulness that you could not forgive. Some people still believe that today. I do not believe divorce is okay.
Yes the bible does speak of slavery, in many different aspects.
One you could be kept as a slave if you owed someone something, if it was because you were captured in a war, but there was usually a time limit that you could keep one as a slave usually after a period of time, you were to free that person. God does also condemn and punish some nations telling them that they would be slaves to other nations, when they did not obey his law.

Again polygamy was only supported by some in the old testament.

People like you should really read and study the whole Bible.

Like you would say Money is the route of evil, when in fact it says... For the Love of money ....

So please know the full context of what you try to speak.

It relies upon on the form you view faith and in case you mean a particular faith or one oftentimes. a brilliant style of the oldest religions got here approximately as people a million) tried to describe the international around them, and a pair of) tried to establish that their custom and persons could proceed on. case in point, the assumption of not ingesting pink meat. while not cooked ideal, pink meat is extra probably than another meats to reason wellness themes and ailment, so it in basic terms made experience to sidestep it. And via making it religious regulation, it made it much less complicated to maintain people from doing it. comparable with Homosexuality. A gay relationship would not oftentimes bring about toddlers. much less toddlers potential much less probability of your loved ones line persevering with on, and decrease populations, so much less workers, and so on. So it grew to become worked into religious regulation that homosexuality is incorrect. If people have self belief it truly is against their god/gods, it truly is much less complicated to get them to sidestep that habit. regrettably, as situations replace and we study a thank you to handle specific issues (i.e. now all of us recognize a thank you to ideal cook foodstuff, and occasional inhabitants and short existence span isn't lots a controversy), faith is slower to alter with it, as those ideals are transforming into culturally ingrained. Does that help?

The Bible is a collection of writings from a bygone era, with archaic laws that may have worked for the people of that time, but now all it does is support those who enjoy using it as a cut and paste for their hate agenda.

No not opposed at all, if it did I'd have to think about getting a new religion though, because I'm not straight!

And yes, I don't follow a Christian religion...I'm a Heathen.
