If you had multiple jobs, you'd probably still owe, since each job takes out assuming you don't have other income.
If you have a working spouse, and you both make fairly large incomes, this can happen also.
If you have very much other income like investment income, and don't have taxes withheld from that, you'd owe.
There are a number of other possible reasons. You can ask on your W-4 to have an additional amount withheld from each paycheck - if you owe very much, would be a good idea.

The higher the number of dependants the less you pay in taxes. Claiming zero the max comes out

Claiming zero exemptions causes the maximum to be held from your pay. Unless you have other income that should be plenty. Get a tax table and make sure your employer is doing it correctly.
