I've seen the hassle-free commercials, but I wanted to know if they were too good to be true.

If I am understanding you correctly, then you are going to use Carmax's new car division. If this is the case there isn't going to be much difference between them and another Toyota dealership in your area. Most likely you will still have to negotiate to get the best deal. Where you will see a difference is in the customer service aspect. All Carmax cares about is the sale of the car at hand. Don't expect any call backs after 1 month of buying a car from them.

Most likely you will get a better price but it is up to you how much you service you will have to give up to save a little money. Check price with other dealerships in the area. Have fun and good luck. Email me if you need any help.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

No hassle price: I'd love to get that as a dealer.

Then they rob your trade.

It is your God given right to work out the best price that makes sense to you. If they do not want to work with you, walk.

The prices they sell their cars for are very fair, however, what they will offer you for a trade-in or just for them to buy your car is very insulting and well below market value, as I have seen on numerous occassions.

I understand that they will give you a guarantee on the car. Although I'm sure that you will pay for it one way or another.
Shop for price and see how they compare.
