No, Jesus was long gone before the rabbit was used as a symbol of Easter.

I think that he wanted a rabbit to represent Easter just as much as he wanted a big fat guy in a red suit with elf's and reindeer called Santa Clause to represent Christmas...which is not a lot.

I love that scene at the foot of the cross while Jesus is dying and the Easter Bunny holds up a chocolate egg and says, "Here, this will make you feel better!!"

I dont really know to be honest, but I do know that he wanted everyone to regonize him and the sacrifice he made for us on Easter, and really every day...Youre question could also apply with Christmas and Santa Clause....I guess we will find out how he really feels about both of those some day though...May God Bless you!

I don't know. Why don't you ask the Christians who stole the pagan customs that are in Easter. The Christian holidays were stolen from the pagans anyway.

Fictional characters only want what their writers make them want. If they want Jesus to steal pagan holidays & their symbols for easter the writer just has to write it in.

"Jesus likes multicolored hardboiled eggs & marshmallow peeps!"

Well it's not like he has any say in the matter, it isn't his holiday. Christians stole the holiday and didn't even bother to change the name or traditions of it. Seriously, get your own holiday and stop stealing others and the complaining about the ancient traditions.
