I was wanting to know where the prostitutes hang out in York. It's not for the reason you all think!
The thing is my cousin has just become a hooker for financial reasons. She has fallen out with her parents over it but her parents are worried because she won't tell them where she is doing it. So can anyone give me some popular hooking locations in York so we can find out where she is going.

Actually, most of that is not based in fact. -High pace; partially true. This is a fast-paced city, so people have to keep moving. Fans of St. John's University athletics would all be taken for prostitutes if this was true. Wear whatever color you want, we won't bother you for wearing any particular color. -You need to be prepared to stand up for yourself ANYWHERE you go, not just New York. Actually, that might be more necessary in other places. ~~~~~ In short, just be yourself. People come from all over the world and get along here just fine. A few things you should know, though: -New York is a very safe city, safer than just about any large city (and many small towns) in this country. Even then, you have to take basic safety precautions. Be aware of your surroundings, don't be obviously lost, and don't leave valuables hanging out of your pockets. In short, don't make yourself a target. Actually, that's really the main thing to know. Other than that, it's all up to you to explore. Be safe, but don't be paranoid, there's no need. Don't worry so much about how to act here. One of the reasons why people love this place is that there's no need to TRY to "fit in" because everyone fits in anyway. So relax a bit, be yourself, and enjoy our city. lol new yorkers can pick out tourists like a sore thumb. but I'll give you some tips. 1. walk fast, new yorkers always have to get somewhere... and it annoys me when ppl walk slow when im guna miss the bus lol.. and ppl might push you out of the way anyway. 2. wear nice clothes... well actually not everyone does.. i've seen ppl wearing jeans and a tee.. actually that's what i usually wear haah just make sure you look decent.. although it shouldn't matter 3. don't hold around a camera lol.. although I do all the time i just love taking pics of the city. 4. you can wear red... there aren't rly hoes in the city.. or not that i've noticed. 5. don't stop and stare in the middle of the sidewalk..or .. this might sound strange.. but in the middle of the road.. i've seen this done.. ppl almost get hit by cars lol.. 6. NO HEALIES 7. don't leave your bags lying around 8. backpacks are a big giveaway of a tourist. ok actually can I recommend some places? 1. st. patrick's cathridral .. if you haven't been to the city before, it is a must.. absoultly gorgous. and theres an H&M right across the street 2. times square.. of course. 3. the wax museum.. right in times square. 4. the met and the museum of modern art 5. central park duh lol mmm thats all i can think of at the moment lol hope I helped

York is an upmarket place and you will not find prostitutes hanging out anywhere. If you lose track of her just check out all the seediest places you can think of - i`m sure you know them - she`ll be there.

For obvious reasons I have no idea but I will say be careful driving around there at night looking for prostitutes! Even if its innocent you could still be arrested for kerb crawling!

try the museum gardens when i lived york there were always women in there not sure if they were prostitutes though they are some seedy looking pubs in york aswell
