What is the procedure to download movies through Bit Torrent?

I have downloaded Bit Torrent and opened it. It is as same as web page of yahoo with Google search page. I did not understand. This software is not like Limewire. Can you explain about this?

This is a clinet to download large sized files called torrents. There are specific websites that have these torrents but bit torrent lets you search those websites on it's client
the best thing to do is just google search for that ever you want torrent (example search..farscape torrent) and google will give you the sites, then you go there and download the torrent file with is basically a map that tells bit torrent where and how to download the files you want. you open the torrent file using bit torrent and bit torrent will do the rest.'

Azureus is a less complicated version of the same thing, you don't do the searches in the program and it pretty much runs itself.
