I don't know how many times, I just know that he did. That would be enough for me because I believe Him. But how many times would it take for a nonbeliever? What difference would it make how many times when they wouldn't believe Him after one?

Never. There is no eternal Hell that sinners experience. That would make Ressurection and Judgement day a contradiction. The only usage of Hell as a reference in the NT was a parable about Abraham being there and telling the others that once there, there was no changing anything, in other words, you can't obtain salvation by being a good dead guy. The effect of the passage was to say, change in your life, do not die bad. So, since some Christians use this passage to prove Hell's punishment factor, I say, why was Abraham in Hell if God thought he was good enough to form the line of his 'chosen' people. This belief is full of biblical contradictions. Hell is merely death. So, sin equals Hell (death) which even the Hell-fire preachers experience.

None. Hell, properly translated, means: common grave of dead mankind...
So the "eternal torment of hell" would be ceasing to exist. That is what happens to all who die. they simply are dead...so Jesus would not promise eternal torment in hell for any reason...the Bible says:
John 3:16: "“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life."
John 17:3: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
Ecclesiastes 9: 5 & 10: "5Â For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.
10Â All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going."
She'ol is the same as hell...the common grave of dead mankind.
Ecclesiastes 3: 19 & 20: "19Â For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20Â All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust. "

Jesus never spoke of it literally, only symbolically.
The bible says that Jesus' Father (of course, God) does not approve of children being burned in fire (Jeremiah 7:30-31) why would there be a need for a hell of fiery torment?
When something is thrown into fire, it burns, turns to ashes then no more....symbolically, what is thrown in the fire is destroyed, no chance of returning...it ceases to exist.

What matters IS your belief in Him. You dont have to worry about that if you accept Him into your life. If you dont believe in Him anyway, then you shouldnt have a problem that He doesnt exsist. He is only for those who have the will to open His heart to him.
