We have those window shades and those thin white shears. Lost of time you can see inside the house through the shears. It is not about me not wanting someone else to see my wife naked. That would not bother me but we live in a neigherhood and I just do not think it is appropriate to do this. Many times I will have to go around an close all the blinds at dusk becouse she is trotting around nude. She just laughs it off and tells me no one can see in. Is this normal. She just does not get it.

Have one of your friends come over one night and embaris the crap out of her by telling her he heard a rumor going around town about driving by your house at night to see her walking around naked. That will either fix things or you know you have a problem.

Some of the answers that I have read in regards to this question astound me.

No...it's NOT ok to walk around your house naked if people can see in! Do you live on three acres where NO one can see in? Of course not..You live in a neighborhood...with children and other adults...
I'm not sure how old your wife is, but this situation seems very immature.
Anyone in their right mind would know that anybody could look in at anytime, or come up to your door, or, if it's gotten around that she walks around naked, you could very well start getting people looking through your windows...
I wonder, do you have children? Do their friends come over whenever they want?
It seems very strange to me that she should want to walk around naked.
In regards to one of the answers I read below, I believe that if your wife wants to walk around naked, SHE should be the one to close the blinds...not you.....
I would talk her with seriously about this, because as mentioned previously, if the wrong person sees her, adult or child, there will be many legal problems involved.
If I was walking down the street and happened to notice a naked chick in her window I'd call the police.....Because I have 2 children, ages 14 and 12 and I don't think they should have to be subject to seeing a grown woman naked in her window just because she doesn't "feel" like putting any cloths on.

You remind me of my husband! The only time I walk around naked is from the bathroom to my room and I happen to pass by our large livingroom window...hubby likes the blinds open for light. He gets upset when I walk by. NO ONE CAN SEE IN!!! There is a screened porch right infront of that window and it is usually light out. When it is dark, I will admit you can definately see in so I don't do it then. I usually just walk by and he gets mad. If you have a problem with it make sure the blinds are closed!! But it looks like you really care about what others think about you guys...or you don't want anyone seeing your wife. One or the other but ya know, she doesn't have anything that no one has seen before. It is in your home, atleast she doesn't walk out side naked. That would be a different topic!!!

She sounds like a bit of a tease which can add some spice to a marriage so with that I think you are lucky. I wish my wife would be a little more aventurous It is a bit risky "what will the neighbors say". You likely have a lot of guys walking their dogs. If you are comfortable with her in your relationship it's okay or is she looking for the attention that you are not giving her. Drop your laundry and join her!!!

She obviously wants to be seen. But she needs to realize that maybe children can see her and in some states that's called "indecent exposure". In Florida many years back, this couple got arrested for having their blinds open, while having sex, on the window that over looked the complex swimming pool and there were children out there.
