I have been staying at Grand President Soi 11,
many times. The rooms in tower 2 are all newly furbished,
and is very conveniently located. Many supermarkets and 7-11 stores down the road. Plenty of taxis, and 5 Min's walk
to Nana sky train. 15Min's walk to Robinson department stores.
The staff are very friendly. The room with 2 bedrooms are good, but 1 room is large, and the other is small at Grand president. I hope to be there during that period.

Since the following are all in the relative same area I will comment in total.

Royal President, President Solitaire and Grand President Exec. All in a okay neighborhoods. 10 minute walk to skytrain. Close to the small malls in the area. The larger ones are about 10-15 minutes by Skytrain. There are some dark streets to walk around there. I don't usually go into this area.

President Park, which seems to be the better deal is furthest from the skytrain with a 15 minute walk. That's pretty long in 90 degree heat. It is a nicer neighborhood. And the Emporium mall, equivalient to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is close. The other large malls are about 15-20 minutes by Skytrain.

See www.asiarooms.com for rates and reviews that would probably help you more to make your decision.

They all seem nice. All rated 4 star(Hotel self rating), the first three were on average 4 smiles, the President Park averaged 5 smiles.

Please read the reviews for their comments and you get a good idea what is going on there. the reviews are pretty honest I think. And they come from varied backgrounds and countries.

For a short stay of 5 days I think you are ok. The chain is owned by an Indian man and he has hired very poor management to run these places. I know, a friend worked at Royal President. The rooms are above average and modern. Most of the places are down sois and away from Sukhumvit. Also, make sure you clarify, and in writing, the breakfast policy. Some residents get it and some have to pay, and it makes for a lousy start to your day to argue over this matter.
