You're thinking from an American perspective.
Here, if we don't like something, we speak up and vote people out (or not vote for them in the next election). We can complain to Congressmen/women; information is available all over the place

But you can't do that in Latin America.
Trust me on this, many people in Latin American countries DO complain, but the people in power turn a blind eye (or worse, jail or kill the complainers); you have no idea how corrupt and selfish the governments down there are.

It's interesting how nobody tells the Chinese and Indians to change their situations back home instead of relying on H1B visas, taking jobs away from American professionals.

It's not that simple. Is it ever easy for people to change the views of their government? Look at what's happening here.

There are two classes in Mexico, the Rich and the Poor. There is no middle class. Those that risk coming here do so out of necessity. How can anyone say that these immigrants are a burden to us? Can you tell me how an immigrant has ever burdened you? They come to this country for work to help support their families that they had to leave behind. They take the lowest paying/crappiest jobs here and contribute to this countries economy. Have you ever had to work a 12 hour day picking lettuce? or packing meat? It's hard backbreaking labor that they are paid dollars a day for.

These immigrants are severly underpaid and are constantly being exploited. These are people that want what we all want. They want to share in the american dream that we americans often take for granted. They want a better life for themselves, but most of all for their families. That's it. Nothng more.

Oh...and the U.S. isn't an over-croweded nation. Japan & India are over-crowded nations, not us. There is plenty of room here for everyone. We just all live on either the West or East Coast.

We are a nation of Immigrants. Never forget that. All of our ancestors came here for a better life at one point. This nation was built by the hard working immigrants that came here and it is still being built by immigrants.

Oh, and never mind the fact that we had to literaly exterminate the Native Americans that were already here. We are all here illegally.

specific, and no. ..specific because of the fact it is a relationship with Christ and not plenty else, and no because of the fact in this time and place interior the international Christianity has progressed right into a non secular classification: See under. a set of ideals relating to the reason, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. while considered because of the fact the creation of a superhuman business enterprise or companies, frequently concerning devotional and formality observances, and usually containing a ethical code governing the habit of human affairs. 2. a particular elementary set of ideals and practices often agreed upon by ability of assorted persons or sects: the Christian faith; the Buddhist faith. that's the dictionary's definition. no count if it is what Christians have self assurance or no longer, it is what society accepts. for that reason we are interior the religion classification and that's the place our questions are.

You know, I read this story about this one country. They REALLY hated their government. They taxed the crap out of them and were basically using them to get taxes and goods out of them, but they really didn't give them much benefit for being part of the country. Then, the people got pissed. They told their king to go S the D and said that if they wanted their country back, they would have to take it. And then they fought with their mother country and won the war. The new country's citizens had paid for their land with the blood of brothers.

Sometimes if you don't like what's going on, you need to tell the leader to bite you and go and fix it. If they try to kill you, you fight back, and if you die in the process, at least you died for a cause.

I think there are a lot of people out there that aren't willing to die for their cause when they know that there is a big country to the west that will fly in food and their men to fight off the bad guys for them.

Illegal immigrants may come to achieve the "American Dream," but isn't there a "Mexican Dream" or a "Venezuelan or Ecuadorian or El Salvadorian Dream?"

I've been told that someone who doesn't take a stand and defend what's theirs is a coward. I believe that people who don't so for their countries are cowards. The US did it when it wanted to relieve itslef from the British; slaves did it when they counldn't take no more from the "massa;" hell, Mexico did it when it wanted to seperate from Spain! Why can't people in Latin America (I say these countries because this is where 85% of illiegal immigrants come from) "rise up" against their own?

The US has proven time and again (WWI, WW2, Bosnia, Somalia, etc.) that we will help those in need, but they have to want the help themselves. Running away only makes the situation worse. I think that's why these countries are so ****** up! Instead of staying and fixing the problem, everyone just runs. What kind of man tells his son that the only way to make their situation better is to "run" to another country as opposed to fixing their own? A coward, that's who!

A couple of reasons is that those who come here illegally, usually aren't able to influence their governments in any way, shape or form. It has to do with their poverty level and sometimes lack of education. As a result, they get frustrated and leave, which ultimately helps their home country with it's own problems of over crowding, unemployment rates and economy.

Indeed, as illegals flow across the border and find jobs in the US, they send money back home to family via wire transfers, thus helping their home nation with a greater influx of money. As an example, the second largest economic boost to Mexico's economy is Western Union money transfers received from Mexicans working in the US.

This only further strengthen's the home country's resolve to continue on status quo, as it is more advantageous to them in the short run to allow citizens to flee to more prosperous nations. Indeed, political platforms can be based off of the drop in unemployment and influx of money, even though those in power really didn't foster any programs to assist such indicators.

It's true that they shouldn't already come to an overcrowded US. But some illegal immigrants can't stop what's going on in their country because of the type of government. There are many examples of this: The Jews in Germany, the people in Darfur, Cubans and Castro, etc. If they speak up, then they may be killed. In their minds the only thing left to do is to try and get out of the place without making a scene.

THis is so funny why do you think this is going on

The goverment OUR goverment is trying to make us focus on other things that are important but not as important as THE WAR ON TERRORISM

LOL its so funny because when was the last time whe knew anything about Bin Laden now tell me what do Mexican immigrants have to do with BinLaden lol yeah the sad part is that people are falling for it

Or for instance Gas prices wuts up with that oh yeah the Bush family owns oil so why would they want to highlight that. Health Care hmmm another issue.. Economy is not all there, the goverment cuts rural school's budgets and expect poor or low income kids to graduate high school when there is no money for school programs and school period

I THINK THEY SHOULD CUT THE CRAP DEAL WITH THE WAR FIRST AND THEN ONCE WE COME OUT OF THAT HOLE WE DIGGED OUR SELVES INTO THEN START DOING OTHER THINGS.

TYPICAL AMERICAN WAY DOING THINGS HALF WAYS WITH ALL KINDS OF SECRETS AND BLAMING OTHERS FOR OUR FAULTS TRYING TO CONQUER OTHER COUNTRYS. THIS COUNTRY IS A BIG MISTERY WITH THE WHOLE CIA FBI AND HELLO WHEN YOU WATCH THE NEWS DO THEY MENTION "THE WAR ON TERRORISM" AS MUCH AS THEY SHOULD NOPE! PEOPLE WE ARE AT WAR DONT YOU THINK WE NEED TO KNOW WHATS GOING ON AND NOT JUST WHEN THE PRESIDENT DESIDEDS TO GIVE AN IGNORANT SPEECH

THE MEDIA CORRUPTS THE MIND WITH THESE IMMIGRANT STORIES WITH THE WHOLE BRITNEY SPEARS CRAP

LETS FOCUSE ON CAPTURING BIN LADEN ASAP

They may be seeking asylum from a brutal totalitarian regime that the US backs, e.g. Saudi Arabia.

They may be following the flow of global capital out of their home country to a first world country which openly spouts about the wonderous benefits of globalization like......erm.....the U.S.?

'the United States devoid of its ability to protect itself' - nurse sooth my sides!!!

"I think there are a lot of people out there that aren't willing to die for their cause when they know that there is a big country to the west that will fly in food and their men to fight off the bad guys for them" -

OMG these sides have had too much for one day!! How about when the big powerful country to the West funds a coup to remove your democratic government with a despot which spills plenty of your brother's blood in order to retain its power.

Like say....Chile on SEPTEMBER THE ELEVENTH 1973 or Iran (yes those mad A-rabs) in 1955?

many people think it is easy to change what is going on in other countries, but look how well we are doing at changing whats going on in ours...poverty is rising, as well as unemployment rates, and we supposedly have one of the easiest governments for the people to have a say if what goes on....I am not sure your stance on our government, but I think everyone can admit that our government is corrupt at some level, but our corruption looks like perfect government compared to the governments in some other countries...Look at all the turmoil in Mexico right now, its all political....and the US Government does not do much to help the situations....we actually have a lot of control over what foreign governments will do...when the people of a country do get to vote for the changes they want and think will improve their nation, regardless of how you feel about there choice, if that government philsophy does not agree with what our government likes we threated to take away aide and support (now regardless of whether you think we should actually be giving aid is irrelevant) these countries depend on that aid and will change in most cases to retain it. This angers the people and creates the political uprisings you see....Now its not the people who are causing the uprisings that are coming to the US, its those that just want to live in peace and not worry about their children being kidnapped or their spouse being murdered....
