Bunnies and Eggs and the Easter Celebration:
Christianity absorbed/adopted all kinds of Pagan practices, largely to make Christianity more palatable and, hence, to increase the number of converts it could attract.
Easter has its roots in a celebration of Spring and fertility honoring the Goddess Eostre (Ostara), and rabbits and eggs were a part of that celebration. The rabbit was one of Eostre's symbols, representing fertility. The egg is a universal symbol of fertility and rebirth -- I don't think the origins of that symbolism are even known, they go so far back.
That is what bunnies and eggs have to do with the Easter *celebration*.
The Meaning of Easter
As for what *Easter* means for Christians, I can only tell you what it means in my family, where there is absolutely no confusion between the commercial aspects (dyed eggs, chocolate bunnies, jelly beans...whatever) and the religious aspect. Easter doesn't have all the hoopla that surrounds Christmas but it is certainly more sacred. A celebration of Christ's resurrection, the Easter Mass is typically the single most well attended Sunday service of the year for Christian churches. The Easter basket for the kids, that sort of thing, is a fun part of the holiday but in essence has little to do with the holiday, in terms of how the celebrants view it. Some may think of the symbolism as it relates to resurrection, some may give it little or no thought at all and just take it on its face as that part of the holiday that commercialized and/or meant specifically for the children. (Nonethless, the holiday is in fact rooted in pagan tradition to which the rabbits and eggs were front and center; and the eggs and rabbits are not a secular aspect of an otherwise religious celebration but are, in fact, religious aspects of a celebration that predates Easter.)

Easter to me is the time to worship and commemorate Jesus Christ's resurrection from the useless, and how He made it available for all and sundry individuals to have resurrection, no count even if we are strong or evil. there's a strong video on the link lower than. i imagine of Easter eggs as an emblem of fertility and new existence, to represent a sparkling beginning- how we can all come decrease back to existence, in our own bodies, in our perfect style. notwithstanding the Easter bunny and eggs were genuinely no longer invented by technique of Christians- we merely see the symbolism in them in a customary way.

For true christians, easter means absolutely nothing. It is a holiday constantly confused with the PASSOVER that semi, quasi, and diluted believers think is about the resurrection of our God in flesh. Easter IS actually about bunnies and eggs.

Absolutely nothing! The "bunnies and eggs" are a playful, childish aside to the day. We remember it as the day Christs rose from the grave, enabling us to have victory over sin by seeking salvation through His example of repentance, water baptism, sanctification, and being filled with the Holy Ghost.

The only really religious part of the whole commercialized Easter is the eggs, eggs is the sign of new life. What Jesus gave to us, new life he took our sins. He died on the cross for us to give a new life and to know that we are going to be able to be saved when we die. For bunnies i dunno but the egg does have meaning to the Christian faith.

Easter means a time of resurrection and celebration as Jesus was raised from the dead. It means hope to a world that needs it.

What do you have to do with grammar? Nothing, obviously.
Anyway, Easter isn't about bunnies and eggs. Look it up in an encyclopedia.
