* Who was crucified? Was it Yeshua (Jesus) or Simon of Sirene? *

Neither,
Judas Iscariot and Simon of Kerioth were father and son.

The Bible John 13
" Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon".

( and the convenant between Yahuda (Judas) and Yashua (Jesus ) was sealed. )

The Qur'an Al-Nissa 4 :157 - 158.
"And because of their saying in boast: We killed the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah, but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but a similitude was shown to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no certain knowledge, except the following of conjecture. For surely; they killed him not. But Allah raised him up unto Himself, and Allah is All - Powerful, All - Wise"

( The Quran Scripture says that Jesus was not crucified )

The Bible Mark 15: 1 - 5
And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate. And Pilate asked him, Are you the King of the Judahites? And he answering said unto them, you said so. And the chief priests accused him of many things:
but he answered nothing. And Pilate asked him again, saying, answer you nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee. But he yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.

( Apparently Jesus was not a recognizable personality to Pilate. Jesus was an eloquent speaker, why be silent now? )

The Bible Mark 15: 34
And at the ninth hour he cried with a loud voice, saying,
Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted,
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

( The above doesn't sound like a willing sacrifice to me. )

Sacrifice: Permanent loss of something of immense value.
In reference to the Crucifixion, that was not a permanent loss.
On the third day he supposedly rose again. Therefore the so-called sacrifice was not a true sacrifice at all.

The Gospel of Barnabas page 266.
Judas answered:"Sir ,believe me, if you put me to death,
you shall do a great wrong for you shall slay an innocent person; seeing that i am Judas of Iscariot and not Jesus ,
who is a magician and by his art has transformed me."

( Pilate' wife had a dream. Pilate questioned the man, then washed his hands of the whole sordid thing.)

Those that tell us some scriptures are acceptable and some are not are actually disingenuios and self serving. The lust of their fathers they stilll do.

Until we consider all the Scriptures as of The Lord as one we shall forever be lost in contradiction.

In order to believe that it was Simon the Cyrean, you would have to believe that no one noticed that this man who had been so badly beaten and bloodied was now completely healed of those wounds. That the very people who wanted him to be crucified allowed someone else to be crucified in his place. That his own mother and some of his disciples standing at the foot of the cross, never realized it wasn't really Jesus. That Joseph of Arimathea gave his tomb to a man he didn't even know.

No, it was Jesus.

Remember that all of his disciples were martyred for their belief in Jesus. They each had the opportunity to confess that Jesus had not actually been crucified and had not really resurrected, but they each chose to die the most horrible deaths immaginable rather that make such statements. Why would they all do that if it was a lie? Surely ONE of them would have fessed up if it was in fact all just a lie.

Jesus loves you and so do I.

After Jesus fell beneath the cross the third time, the Roman guard plucked a civilian from the crowd at the side of the road and made him carry the cross the rest of the way to Golgotha. That civilian was Simon of Cyrene. When the Place of the Skull was reached he got shoved back into the crowd and Jesus got nailed.

It was Jesus. Jesus is the only one coming back. He is the way and the resurrection no one can come to God if it's not through him. Read the Bible Matthew 10:32, "Everyone then that confesses union with me before men I will also confess union with him before my Father who is in the heavens; but whoever disowns me before men I will also disown him before my Father who is in the heavens."

It was Jesus Christ who was crucified. He died for all our sins both past and present and those to come. It was to give us life everlasting.

Tons of people, in several different ways, but neither one of those people were ever found in any Roman documents, so I don't know if they were or not, or even if they existed, outside of the one storybook.
