It didn't occur to me it might be a form of money laundering, but I saw a federal government site which covers various email scams and that was one of them. I've been reporting those emails to yahoo! but I don't know how much good it did. I think I get those at least once a week and they always claim my email address "was chosen at random". Kind of scary to think my email address is on a "sucker list". . .

It is an absolute scam! They are simply trying to get your personal information to steal your identity. It is best to not even open the email, just delete when you read the heading. A guy I know was just on national TV because he got involved in a scam. Stay away from those emails!

If u didn't buy a ticket u cannot have won anything, normally they will ask u for ur bank account details, or tell u that u need to send money to claim ur prize.
It is a con the only winner is them. If u give them money u will never hear from them again, if u give bank details u WILL be cleaned out.

They are trying to scam you out of your money. Plain and simple. They want you to send them a smaller amount of money. They promise to send a large amount and never do. There have been people who have been dumb enough to travel to foreign countries and then they are murdered for their money.
Never believe these letters.

They are all scams. Delete them. Also, make sure your anti-virus program is up to date. I have had a couple come through with trojan horses that Avast indicates are programs that capture key strokes on you r computer, and can compromise your personal identity. Beware!
