Area will be wet where she has been lying but it is not urine so I am assuming that it is saliva from her washing.

Sometimes when a cat is very content they drool.
We have four cats and one of them is a drooler.
She loves to be combed and everytime she's groomed she drools.

She may just be a happy drooler. When was the last time she had a checkup?

i always call my vet (usually leaving a message on her answering machine) whenver I have a question liek that -- she is always happy to call back when she is able to, and give me an answer.

It's called hyper-salivating and assuming she has not gotten into any poisons, she is very content. Cats also cannot tolerate a lot of direct contact with catnip which can cause hyper-salivating....just a bit too high!!

She could just be a drooler. A few of mine are. ;)

Sometimes they just drool when they are content and happy.
