If, there a Tech School close, sometimes they fix stuff for free. But, you will still need to pay for any parts.
I know a few people got their car painted for the price of the paint. AND, the work is better than people think. These are the ones you will pay top dollar to when they go to work!

fix a computer....mhhhh
if your computer is a band named computer such as HP,acer,emachines....ext
you can call them and they will fix it but i never had a brand named computer so i dont know if they charge
if its a clone
then you can just send the bad part to the company and all you have to pay is the shipping
but please follow the instructions if you dont you might lose your computer part.
