YOu can get the 7-1 shot but the one required by law pretty much everywhere is Rabies and that has to be administered at a vets office.

Yes you can however it is NOT a good idea for several reasons.
1) the drug companies will NOT guarantee any vacciane not from a licensed vet
2) there is no way of knowing how a vaccine has been stored, handled, shipped or even where it came from
3) many home given vaccines are given improperly
4)often the wrong vacciantion is given
5) vaccines need to be administered to a healthy pet sometimes an owner thinks their pet is healthy when it has an underlying problem that only becomes apparent upon a vet examination
6) some pets have adverse reactions to vaccines even if they didn't previously
7) you should NEVER use a 7 in one combo vaccine..it is over vaccianting all at once, has vaccines in it that are not needed or recommended
The only vaccines recommended for ALL dogs are distemper/parvo/canine hepatitis/adenovirus-2 and of course rabies (rabies in most states MUST be administered by a licensed vet).
NOT recommended for all dogs is Lepto, parainfluenza, lymes and bordatella (kennel cough). These are only recommended for dogs at high risk of exposure.
NOT recommended at all for ANY dog is coronavirus, giardia and adenovirus-1.
These are the protocol set by AVMA/AAHA and all 27 vet schools.

Yes it is possible but not advisable....some vaccines are better than others and who knows what brand you would get ... when it comes to pet vaccines, the only thing the companies have to prove to the FDA is that the vaccine will do no harm....they do not have to prove they actually work...Vets use proven vaccines that will show a titre to the disease when tested at a later date...no sense wasting your money for something that will not protect your pet.

Yes, you can. Go to a farm supply store or look online. You have to get rabies vacc shot from a vet. Honestly though, just take them to the vet to get the vaccines b/c you need boosters and they can keep up with the doseage and vacc schedule. Also, certain shots need to be administered in certain places on the animal- too much room for mistakes. Ask around for Pet Wellness plans at clinics & shelters. They offer services at a reduced price.

What state do you live in? Here in NY, we are allowed to administer all vaccines to our dogs and cats except for the rabies vaccination. In other states, your not allowed to do that.
We will be purchasing our 7 in 1 distemper vaccines and giving them to our dogs ourselves in the next few weeks. As for the rabies vaccine, around this area the local Department of Health holds free rabies clinics, so that is where we were last Saturday.
Just make sure to watch your dogs for any adverse reactions.

i don't think you can "buy" them anywhere to administer yourself, but sometimes places like Petco or certain animal shelters offer clinics where you can go to get vaccines for very reduced prices. i'd call your local petco if there is one near you. i was there the other day and they had flyers for a vaccine clinic coming up soon.

Sure you can. It depends on what kinds of diseases you're wanting to vaccinate against.
Check out http://www.petsupplies4less.com
they sell one dose of some vaccines that you can vaccinate your pet at home with.

I don't think you can get them without seeing the vet. Why would you want to do it yourself anyway? You should take them to the vet - what if you gave them the wrong dosage?!
