Your friend knows it isn't an accident and is angry that you were abused. I am guessing that you are afraid if your friend confronts your father that things will only be worse for you. You may have to tell your friend the truth about things at home and if you are not ready to get out of the situation and get some help, explain to him that confronting your father will only cause a beating after he leaves.

I hope you consider confiding in someone and getting some help as being physically and verbally abused is always the abuser's fault, not the victims. But, the only way to stop being a victim is to put a stop to the abuse and only YOU have the power to do that - help is available - reach out and get it. You have nothing to be ashamed or embarassed about. You are not the first person who has gone through this and I'm sorry to say you won't be the last. You are not alone.

Been there.

He has every right to be concern for your safety. Your father left a bruise on you thats child abuse and illegal. What happens the next time when your dad accidently hits you and you are in the E.R. with broken bones. This boy cares for you and wants to protect you and I would tell too if it happened again. Read the stories on all these kids who are abused and die at the hands of the parents who claim to love them.

For your sake I hope it was an accident. If it continues, you need to speak with a counselor . Your friend really cares about you. What would you do if the situation was reversed? A friend can't ignore possible abuse and will do what they can to help.So if this does happen again, you're friend should intervene.Be careful and good luck.

I can relate to this story, I had the same thing happen to me when i was in high school. If you don't want to put yourself back in that situation at home again than you need to go to the counselor office and report it. They will than call the police to come down to investigate the situation. They will call a relative to come down to the school. Your father would get arrested for child abuse. If you don't have a relative than they would stick you in child custody until you go to court and the judge will decide who you would stay with since it's not safe at home.

First place u must know how he feel about u..U love him as a brother but doesnt mean he love u as a sister right? Just tell him dont tell anyone that ur dad hit u, as you want to keep it as a secret. If he really care about u, he will listen to u.

Tell him the truth. And trust him to help you with this.
Tell him what can happen if he tells someone ... tell him you dont know how to handle the situation but telling someone else would not necessarily help the situation. You need good advice ... not only someone angry at your father .... that wants to defend you. Speak to a counselor at school privately.....its important.

He is looking after you since the one person that is suppose to protect you has hurt you. I hope that this is the first and last time that your father gets physically abusive with you. If this does continue you need to talk to someone who can help you. Talk to your guidance counselor, or a friends parent.

I think that you should tell him that it was an acident and not to wory about it.

you are probly the kind of person that would tell the truth so you can also say that if there was sumthing wrong you would tell him and or if he hit you perposly you would tell him if he dose not belave you then maby he dose not trust you

Accidently? How does that happen? Another accident and your friend should tell if you won't.
