I feel something (mostly physical) attraction when I'm around him. I do feel safe when he holds me. He just seems way more into it than I am... Does love grow over time?

I don't want to let him go, I think he is the perfect guy, but can passion grow over time?

Passion can grow over time, yes. (There are countries that have arranged marriages and the passion in those must grow over time and it works.) But its totally up to you and if you want to try and let it grow and try to work.

You can love someome but not be in love with them. It happens to lots of people at some point in life. What you have to do is be honest with yourself first...if your not in love with him why would you put yourself and him through this, as you would be living a lie.And if he says that he loves you that much, he will be greatful for your honesty and may still want to remain friends, and keep in touch with you. It will be hard for you to tell him how you feel, but believe me he will thank you in the end for not stringing him alont. Tell him now, though don't keep him hanging on in false hope. It's not fair to him. Although he may hurt some now when you do tell him, it won't be nearly as bad later if you keep putting it off.

i guess you are really attracted to him physically. and yes love needs to grow because you have to learn how to accpet his imperfection to love him more than physically.
sometimes ...............we only realize when the person is important to us when we loose them onnce..You have to go out with him more often. talk to jhim about how you feel. let him get to know you more and open up.. i guess passion fades if its just lust.. but when there is love.... passion gets so much better

Well, love doesn't florish overnight... I believe there's no such thing as love at first sight. I would advise you to give the person the chance to prove himself and yourself to know him better. There's nothing to lose... it you don't end-up as lovers then you gained a friend
