Matthew 24:10-14 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Actually the whole chapter of Matt. 24 gives the signs of the End of the Age.
We must watch & discern the times. Jesus told us what to watch for & not be deceived. Stand firm in faith & watch.

First God wants us to know the truth (God's word) so that the truth will set us free (John 8:32) and to need His word as solid food (Heb 5:14) so that we are able to test everything according to His word.
Second God wants us to know His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Col 1:9) so that we can test everything according to His will.
Third we must know that New Testament prophets do not condemn believers for there is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Chist Jesus (Rom 8:1)
We need not be afraid of false prophets when we know how to test them. All false prophecies will not align with God's word and God's will. We also have the Holy Spirit to help us to know whether someone is speaking on behalf of God. When we know and do these things we will not be deceived by false prophets.

There are plenty of those. The other day I saw Oprah on T.V. and she's all like "Men are bad because they don't listen to us, blah, blah, blah." I can't tell you what she said after that because I found a jelly ben between the cushions of my couch. Anyway, I don't remember anything else that was said on the show, but there were lots of crying women, which was kinda cool. Then I went to work and said a prayer that one day Oprah will find a job. I think that's why she has all that free time on her hands. The bible says that when Dr. Phil starts airing a T.V. show, the end is near. I hope we never hear from that guy in my lifetime, but I don't watch much T.V. anyway. Love ya!

Yes, He did, and there are plenty of them out there. But you'll notice He didn't warn against all prophets. So, there are true prophets in the last days, too.

If there is one constant in the universe it would be liars. There have always been liars. . .there will always be liars, so saying that there will be false prophets in the last days is pretty much a given and doesn't amount to squat.

Everything Yshua bar-Ysef 'prophecized' happened before his time, during his time, and continually since.

Recognizing patterns of history does not a prophet or messiah make.

No Jesus key message was do not be deceived. Why do you think he came, and introduced Grace and Truth, if we already had them?

If I say the truth shall make you free, I am not speaking of my truth, I am speaking of the true Word of God. not a men's words full of lies.

Which false prophets did you have in mind?

He did indeed say 'many will come in my name...'

If you are yourself prophesying perhaps we should beware of you?

If you define false prophets as anyone who doesn't agree with you, then the last days were centuries ago and you've done missed the rapture. Oops.

Take each belief and ask yourself when you first started to believe it, who told you, why they would know it to be true or if it's just speculation on their part, and why you accepted it as a belief.
