Can't. Here's why: When you install a program, Windows takes the product key, combines it with information of the PC on which you are installing, and comes up with an "installation ID." When you try to install on another computer, the information will not match. It may install, but you cannot update and will shortly be hit with a request to activate/buy.

Excel requires a lot of files that need to be installed and not all are in one place. Also it modifies registry.
Some programs however can be easily transfered from one PC to another. Usualy they don't have many files (mostly just one .exe).
The older the program the more chances you have that it might just work.

While technically it is possible, even advanced computer users would not attempt this. There is something called the Window Registry where data is store about the program, such as Excel. There are hundreds of entries regarding how you excel program opens up, it's current state when it was closed.
If it was a simple program with no registry entries, yes.... something like excel... no.

you can by doing a back up of the program using something like symantic ghost. But you have to make sure that all the files are transfered or it will not work. Since excel is not a game or anything like that with saved files etc. i would suggest just reinstalling it on another computer.

possibly, but not recommended. best to re-install everything. a complete installation will install all the drivers and libraries to your system. without it, there will be errors.
