How can one person who is so ignorant of anything Jewish, and hates Jews and Judaism with all his soul, continue to post such garbage and expect to be taken seriously?
This sort of hate-filled propaganda would be disturbing, if it weren't on such a low level as to make the asker look like a hating ignoramus.

Our religion has always been more nationalistic than religious. Why did Christians pervert Judaism with all that mystical crap? The sole purpose of the messiah is to bring peace and justice *on earth* for all humanity. The messiah actually means annointed. What would you call the messiah if not king? The word "christ" means annointed in Greek. Jesus is the Christian annointed one -- in other words king. It was Christianity that perverted the word to become a divine king.
I don't think of us as being proud. We are a community working together to make the world a better place for all humanity. Our God does not condemn any people to an eternal torment.
If it's Israel you're referring to, it was secular Jews who formed the State -- NOT religious Jews. Orthodox Jews fought against Zionism until some of them finally relented when there was no other place in the world where they could live in relative safety. Zionism has always been a political movement -- not religious.

First of all, from my understanding of the Hebrew Bible, at the time that the Jews first became a nation it wasn't a perversion. They were an ethnicity and a religion. My question back is what you consider perverse about nationalism.
Second, the term "Messiah" means "announted king". It's taken from the account of david who God chose to be king and showed it by having a prophet anoint him with oil. The term became synonymous with the idea of a saviour or deliverer when the Jews were conquered by and ruled over one gentile nation after another and their prophets foretold of a time when God would live up to his promise that a king from David's line would rule over them and kick out the "evil" gentiles from the Promised Land. So the Messiah is a political title. From my Christian upbrining the term was used more as a spiritual title that Jesus as Messiah was the one who saved us from our sins. Both concepts of the term are true.
Lastly, i don't think any one ethnicity has a monopoly on pride! Have you ever heard of a guy named George Bush?

1)Our religion and nationalism are INTERTWINED.. It's called ZIONISM..
2)Judaism does not have a Moshiach (Messiah) yet. In the future Eliyahu and the Moshiach will come to Earth and bring about Olam Haba..
3)Jewish pride is something that has been increasing EXPONENTIALLY over the past THREE MILLENIUM.. How could a people not be proud of their accomplishments when the list of them would fill up a ream of paper?

when our temple was destroyed-some of my people stayed with Moses and the blood atonement required to forgive sins Leviticus 17:11 others had to make a new religion with no Messiah and no atonement for sins-thus nationalism without a personal redeemer Messiah Isaiah 52:13-53:12 which says that the Messiah will be made very high-but first marred more than any man and to die as our lamb to make atonement for sins
Messiah is coming back and soon
we are all proud in our beliefs be them right or wrong.

Because the bible is full of nationalism, racism, politics (and bigotry too). Some of those prophets were definitely not-so-holy. Things get somewhat better in the NT but still it is far from divinely inspired. That’s why Jesus wasn’t the Messiah and he never claimed to be, and where he supposedly did is a corruption of his teaching. That’s just the way it is, many people are intellectually dishonest and they corrupt things, what can you do?

You don't understand the history of the Jewish people. Their very identity is defined by their God. They are were established through a covenant God made with Abraham. They were given laws and identity by God through Moses. Their geneology gives them the right to be called Hebrew or Jew.
Perhaps you should spend some time reading their history and talking to them.

Why did the Europians pervert christianity with Patriotism? American christians have the "moral" majority, and southern bible belt, is this not political? Wasn't it christians who voted in a War Monger - again? Does their National Anthem or creedo glorify war or not?
Do you know what a double edged sword is?

The Jewish religion comes from a time when religion and nationality were synonymous. Why do you call yourself mouth breather when it smells like the other end?
