It is easy to make an argument for God’s existence from a cosmological standpoint. As the years have gone by, a growing amount of scientific data has accumulated which negates atheistic assumptions about how matter and the cosmos came into existence and how it has arrived at its present condition. As a science teacher and public lecturer on the compatibility of belief in God and science, I have, been impressed with an increasing awareness on the part of many scientists and theologians that science and religion are symbiotic disciplines.
One question which inevitably comes up in a discussion of this nature is what is the origin of God? If God created matter/energy, and designed the systems that have propelled matter into its present arrangement, who or what accomplished that for God? Why is it any more reasonable to believe that God has always “been” than it is to say that matter has always “been”? As Carl Sagan has said, “If we say that God has always been, why not save a step and conclude that the universe has always been?”

Surely God created us because we came into being after Him. But some body who existed before God created Him.

God Almighty exists from times immemorial. The Cosmos does not seem to have a boundary. If we assume Cosmos to have a boundary... then what beyond! The existence of the Cosmos and the entity of God are closely related. How?
It is only at the time of dissolution of the Cosmos... all the souls atmans in the Cosmos come back to their original pristine pure form. This tiny cluster of purified souls (after the complete collapse of the Cosmos has occurred)... which is just the size of half a thumb... is what we know as God. No Cosmos... no God. No God Almighty... no Cosmos!
In other words... the whole cosmos is but an amalgamation of Almighty God and ether that fills almost 95% of the entire Cosmos. The solid content in the whole of Cosmos is not even 5%. Ether is that dark black substance which covers almost the whole Cosmos.
The Advaita Vedanta theory of Hinduism confirms that apart from God nothing exists in the Cosmos. The doctrine of Maya (veil of ignorance) confirms that the whole cosmos is but a thought (imagination) of God... nothing exists in the physical. Why?
As we dream and sooner the dream is over... All vanishes... similarly; Cosmos has been stated as a dream of God. The prime reason that confirms this fact is... the whole cosmos is without a boundary. Nothing can exist without a boundary. If something has a boundary then what beyond! Ultimately everything bogs down to... the whole cosmos exists from times immemorial. If cosmos exists from times immemorial... God Almighty also exists from times immemorial. More on god the creator - http://www.godrealized.org/god_the_creator_and_man_gods.html

God is ; if you can believe in a higher being; why do you think that you can guess at God or know everything that God does; have we as humans showed that ; we learn new things everyday, planets , oceans, animals , our bodies; and then that all changes and now you expect to figure out our creator when we can't even figure out things that we can see and touch; you put yourself at the same level of God or greater than God to try to be superior to do that ; that in it itself has broken the commandment; I am the Lord they God and you shall have no other Gods , not even yourself.

Christians would have you think that their god has been around forever even though history clearly contradicts this.
Atheists will tell you god was invented in the minds of man.
Agnostics will tell you they don't know if there is a god, let alone where it came from, and why would you assume anyone mortal would have any clue?

No one created God. He has always been here. He is not limited like we are, so it is hard for us to comprehend with the character of God. It is like what is the last number?

If you do not believe in God, then man did.
But I believe God is infinite, not existing in a timeline or a part of creation. For us things must have a beginning but God is not like us and has existed always. Or more accurately God does exist always.

No one knows. The only clue we have is that the Bible says that God is "eternally existent". If you can figure that out-then you will have the answer.
One of our problems in attempting to understand the concept of God is that we are limited only to the dimensions we are aware of. Anything outside our dimension is in- comprehensible to us. Don't fret-we are all in the same boat. Extremely intelligent people who are masters of mathematics and science can speculate on this, the rest of us just have to wonder.
