In Hinduism, one of the aim's of man is to free himself from the cycle and achieve the level of the gods. Hinduism, like ALL other religions aspires to take man to god, and to make man a part of god. Hinduism teaches that man should constantly purify himself, develop virtue, goodness and dignity with a sense of godliness. Even the religions of India's abrahamic people (christians, jews and moslems) teach values such as hard work, discipline, charity, masculinity, love, the discrimination between right and work, high standards and values, morals, and the idea that manliness is next to godliness.

Homosexuality is antithetical to these tenets in every way. Whereas ALL religions aspire to embody god in man, gayness aspires to destroy virtue and reduce man to the lowest of the low - the gutter and sewage levels. It is NOT natural. It is a disorder and a many have termed it a disease.

It can destroy a civilisation (like Romans and Greeks) if it becomes prevalent.

If China and Saudi Arabia can do it, why can't India? Moreover, it is the exact prevalence of this disorder that is causing the west to become decadent.

You are 110% correct, Laxman. Gayness is a disorder, disease, growth of one's mind's filth.

No, I don't agreee, and here is why:

I have done Christian missionary work, and I took a trip to India last fall.

Perhaps there are gays in India, but it is not prevailent, as other problems.

You talk about Hinduism. The big problem is AIDS. How do families, entire families get stricken with AIDS? Because the husband/father visits the Hindu temples and has sex with the Hindu Temple Prostitutes. This is a fact. I have discussed it with them. Then, they bring AIDS home to their families.

Then what happens? Instead of the citizens helping them, like they do here in America, the AIDS victims are outcast by society and their relations.

I visited a Christian commune in India, for those suffering from AIDS. They have no where else to go. I support a little girl there, who is 10 years old. $100 a month supports her completely, including medical costs.

So instead of screaming "DEPORT THEM", why not dig deep into your heart and do something to help them?

Convert this energy you have into something useful.

Aside from being banal, silly, and cruel, the suggestion does have its funny side.
1. If you're going to exile gays, then there's little point in passing laws against their behavior.
2. I'm not sure why you stop at gays. There are already laws on the books against real criminal behavior in India. Using your logic we should exile those folks too. (And if not, why not?) So we would fill other (neighboring?) countries with everything from murderers to embezzlers - along with the gays of course.
3. The phrase "manliness is next to godliness" destroys any semblance of credibility in your argument. To the degree that this is a "religious" concept, it has been largely rejected by ALL the world's religions - outside of a few cultural backwaters not in touch with the last 5 centuries.

This tendency is not the original attributes of design but a pervertion springing out of lack of self respect.Freaks of nature cannot attain a general acceptability in the society as such general majority shall not have the cheek to public accept the gay morality as their way of life.
In fact the open acceptance of gay morality as their code of life in the west is due to great crack down of morals due to world wars which destroyed the real fabric of the naturally evolved society. The present fabric is artificial and influenced so many transient factors that proper adjustment will take lot of time.India is unfortunately under lot of influence from the permiscuous tendencies from the west and trying to liberalise the sexual interaction.Unbridled sexual cannot be limited within a moral corridor.Free sex gives rise to illegtimate childern which are after all somebody's liability;since sexual thirst is insatiable the two mode of satisfaction-one is conjugate sex without childern and the other is homosexuality. The later can have more attraction as the the excessive indulgence calls for a variety or more voilent revolt against the standards to attain more pleasure.
The idea to ban through legislation may not be successful at all, as this sex is practicable in isolation as such the practice can continue unchecked and unnoticed.Only the prophets of God create a situation to make people love God and keep away from acts which are liable to displease God. Unfortunately, hindu religion is faraway from its pure origional due to passage of time.Prophethood is continuous process;unless the prophets come the sins of mankind cannot be eradicated.Hindus need a prophet as the time of Rama and Krishana is a story of distant pasts;their guidance is mutilated and palgarised;hindus need fresh divine rain.

I don't agree with you.

I believe that all forms of immorality are wrong, including homosexual relations, but would you exile anyone who has ever committed a sin? Jesus said, let he who is without sin throw the first stone. We have all committed immoral acts at one time or another. While everyone has the right to disagree with homosexuality and condemn it as a practice, we do not have the right to deport people on this basis.

Indians have their own perfect laws. Saudi Arabians practise and implement Islamic laws. All unwed sexual activities (pre post or extra marital), perverted and homosexual acts are specifically forbidden only in Islam in clearly written unambiguous words as great sins & heinous crimes punishable with publicly lashing / death by pelting stones, etc. Muslims are bound by these teachings & commands being their voluntarily believed faith & religion, and refrain from such sins even in dark or loneliness.
Some learned, scholar, and intellectual may please explain the teachings and commands of Hinduism on this topic with exact references and authorities. Mostly people ignorant of the basics of Hinduism declare their own ideas in the name of Hinduism, which is unfair. Their statement should have a valid authentic reference of any holy script/book, accepted universally. True Hinduism is not a secret presently to be kept hidden by its protectors Brahmins. People can study and know it on the internet and enlighten their knowledge.

2) will the deportees be self sustaining?
3) will the population be self sustaining?
4) will there be one-way shutle service everlasting?
5) will Hindus support a research facility to root out that
mutated gene and lead it down the correct path?

I suggest you take some time to learn more about this subject before you deport ten percent of all the people you know.

No......what does it matter to you what people do in the privacy of their own home or bed for that matter......Everyone has the right to live their life the way they want to.....You don't like people criticizing the religion or belief that you practice in your household....I think you should show that respect in turn to everyone else not just homosexuals or lesbians......don't worry about every ones else's life, worry only about your own.
