Spirit/soul

Since God is a spiritual being I believe He is referring to your mind, spirit and soul. If you look at God you see the mind (the Father) , the soul (Jesus the son) and the Spirit. In God the union is perfect but in man the soul often controls the mind rather than the reverse and the spirit is overshadowed by both unless you make the effort the keep them in balance.

Spirit. Do you really thing the body of God would have so many flaws? E.g. the eye's blind spot, the sensorial limits, thousands of abilities that other creatures have but we do not. Besides, if God had a physical body AND was omipresent, that wouldn't leave room for much else, would it now? It is in spirit that we excel, thatwe show our greatness and that we are truly free, so definetly spirit.

Well, let's get away from the literal a bit and take a look... Male and female he created them. In our bodies, man and woman are capable of creating along with God, new life. This is certainly a physical way we image God as creator. Also or capacity for reason and logical thought is a spiritual way we image God.

But if I'm not mistaken, the Jewish interpretation of this would be much like the way in which the kings of the middle east in ancient times would put up a statue to remind people of their authority. It was their image.

For the Jewish people, the person, male or female, reminds the other of the presence of God and how God is the author of life.

(Jewish friends: If I messed this up, please correct me).

I genuinely have heard this earlier and it extremely works. The words in the Hebrew and the challenge are of an undemanding meaning. photo is "mirrored image". mirrored image should be used as if we were status in the front of a reflect and therein the reflect is our photo. human beings are a dim, 2 dimensional photo of God Almighty Elohim. human beings/create - The verse is about the actual creation of human beings. human beings have a semblance to the author human beings have the breathe of existence - nephesh. Christians have the Holy spirit interior - ru'ach. The Spirit of existence comes frome a similar source because the Holy Spirit. Jesus is likewise a existence giving Spirit. All of those are from a similar source or concept (trademarks) God makes it rain on the strong and undesirable. God provides existence giving spirit (nephesh) to all creatures. God is printed through Jesus and those who have self assurance actually have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The "adversary" tempted Eve with knowlege of strong and evil. it really is glaring that the liar knew Eve had many questions about issues. He created a experience of lack by technique of declaring those words. the certain message is that it is hidden from you and also you are able to understand such issues because the angels comprehend.

The image of God refers to the immaterial part of man - his spirit, because God the Father is a spirit.

This distinction sets man apart from the animal world and enables him to commune with his Maker. It is a likeness mentally, morally, and socially.

Our free will and righteous nature also set us apart from the other creatures.

God is a spirit, he seeks to be worshiped in spirit and in truth
No man has heard God' voice at any time nor seen, his shape.

If you have seen me you have seen the Father, who art in heaven. My kingdom is not of this world. I go and prepare a place for you. God made them in their image, then he made them male and female

It means in his body. Because we all came down to earth to recieve bodies, they were all made in His image and so after we recieve these bodies we were able to do things that we couldnt do when we were spirits. So, from this we are able to learn from our mistakes and progress, which is why we came down here in the first place.

God is a spirit and does not have a body, so that rules that one out.
