Christian..... so I am.

Interesting question.

As a non-believer all I have to go on is the differences in practice really. Yes, I know that's simplistic, but it's what I'm going to base my choice upon.

So I'm going to pick Christian, because there seem to be many different denominations and I suspect I could probably find something that I can live with, such as The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).

And sadly I have to admit I know a lot less about Islam. Although I did read the Qur'an a while back and I have Muslim friends (who I respect very much). So I probably would feel more 'at home' with Christianity.

But at present I am neither. Thank you for asking.

Hello, Isabelli:

The word Christian, as used in the Bible described those who would die rather than offer the slightest bit of incense to Ceasar. Christians today transgress God's law at will, relying on His grace--such foolilshness to "Continue in sin that grace may abound" (Romans 6:1).

I would rather be a "true" Christian than Moslem. It was wickedness in the Church that caused God to allow the plague of Mohammedanism--and Arab nations will ultimately cause Armageddon when they attack Israel

That was predicted, and read "The Rise, Decline, and Death of Islam in Bible Prophecy" at www.revelado.org/islam.htm

Hi,
Im happy to be Muslim, because its a complete way of life...

not only did it show difference between right and wrong, it also made each of us accountable for our own deeds, so as a muslim i believe that if someone does me wrong and think they have gotten away with it, they will get their just measure on the day of Judgement, the same can not be said of christianity where you are said to be given a get into heaven free card for saying you love jesus....

i love jesus, moses, noah, lot, job, muhammad and all the other prophets of God (peace be upon them all) we believe and love them all...

for those who commit injustices what assurance is there that justice will be served esp. if the person is said to go straight to heaven!

I prefer not to believe in any kind of mythology. One's no better than the other.
And, Happy, at least you admit you don't understand. Had you been raised Muslim, you wouldn't understand why anyone would want to be Christian. What you've said is the crux of the problem--a lack of understanding between faiths, which is why I believe the world would be better off without any of them.

I am a Muslim so my answer is a bit obvious. I think nothing negative towards Christians though. My mother is one.

As for "=" she never was a Muslim to call herself an ex one....

As a woman, if i was forced to convert to one or the other, I would prefer Christianity.

But I'd never follow the Abrahamic deity willingly.

If you mean a muslim then I'd rather be a Christian. At least as a Christian I could choose not to practice.
