God always answers prayer. Maybe not just in a way that we are expecting it to be answered.
God's Promise Of Answered Prayer.
-Matt. 7:7-11:
"Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to you children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask?"
-1 John 5:14-15
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And if we know He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have what we asked of Him.
according to His will. God has it all planned out. He will answer prayers at the right time :] so keep praying, and know that God hears you.

God answers prayers according to His will. This means what we ask for must align with His promises in the Bible. Sometimes we do not know what is best for us and God wants to give us the best which may not be what we want at that time or may turn out best as time progresses when God has straightened out other matters in our lives. So the answer may have come not in the way we expect and we conclude God has not answered our prayer. We should agree with God's word that we know not what to pray and the Holy Spirit helps to pray with tongues (Rom 8:26). So if you have an insurmountable issue pray in tongues and believe that the Holy Spirit will help you to pray through with the best solution. How can we not have victory when God helps us to pray in a heavenly language which He understands. Then adopt an open mind believing that God will bless you with the best answer to your need. Know that as we have God's righteousness in Jesus and our prayers especially in the Spirit avails much. God bless you in a wonderful way.

God answers all prayers. The BIble doesn't say he'll answer yes immediately every time! Sometimes the answer is wait.
pray for enemies Matt5:44
pray for rulers 1 Tim 2:1-2
The fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5 :16
The person praying must be righteous--a faithful Christian.
Much-- the prayer may not always be answered our way, but we must pray
that God's will be done as Jesus did before He died. He prayed that the cup
pass from him, but that God's will be done. As we know, the cup didn't pass
and he died that we all may be saved.
A lot of people pray the wrong way and for the wrong things.
James 4:3
You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on
your pleasures.
Matthew 21:22
And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
Thank Him always! God has given us so much. It is sometimes hard to
recognize when we are downtrodden or depressed, but we must always
remember what Christ did for us. Out trials can make us stronger--see James
1:2-8:
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
3knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4But let patience
have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
5If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and
without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6But let him ask in faith, with
no
doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the
wind. 7For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the
Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Even when our money is gone, our looks, or other material things are gone,
Jesus still died for us so that we can go to heaven and no one can take that
away (provided we stay faithful to him. He is always faithful).
Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of
God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.
Still more good advice from teh book of Philippians
8Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is
anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things. 9The things which you
learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of
peace will be with you.

You might ignore the first two answers.
You do not receive because you ask amiss. You are asking God to do something that either goes against His character and nature, or for something that God know is not good for you to receive.
He is not our flunky that does whatever we ask. He listens to our prayers and then decides if it is in His best interest and your best interest to answer the prayer on this day and time. So no answer may be a NO, or it may be a later, and we do not know which.
However this I can tell you, if you receive whatever it is you have asked for without His help, you will wish you had not received it. There is an old axiom that states, 'Beware of what you ask for, you may really receive it'.

Yes, because we don't know what to pray for.
Praying is equal to desiring. There are innumerable living entities who are desiring (praying) for so many things. “Give me this, give me that, give me, give me, give me!” If He was not God He would have become bewildered if He was to answer all their prayers. But actually this asking for material things is only a botheration for God. He is not pleased with such prayers. Therefore we should only desire (pray) to serve Him the way He wants us, as perfect instruments of His will, and then He will answer to our prayers in a most incredible and amazing way, we have never dreamed of. But we should become completely free from all selfish motivations. This is required.

Because you probably aren't DOING anything about it. "God i want a pony!" Is that really gonna get you a pony??? Do you have a place to house the pony? Money to feed the pony? Time to spend with the pony? A reason to have a pony besides you want one? What have you done for God lately? Anything? More importantly, since He puts his love into his people, what have you done for them? Or as Genesis states, God put us in charge of this earth, what have you done lately for her? I can't stand people who go to church and expect that to get you whatever you want from God, not saying that's you, but there out there.

1 Either God has answered and the answer is no or,
2 God said yes but not just yet.
We stand in front of a microwave and say hurry up.
God gets in no hurry. He has all the time in the world.

i've been told that God will decide what is necessary in my life. lets say you are praying for somebody to love you - maybe God doesnt think that person is the right one so He wont answer your prayers. believe me He hears your prayers- but he doesnt necessarily agree with what you are asking. thats why i always say 'if its your will God'! and if nothing happens then i know God didnt agree with it, and i PROMISE you - many times i have THANKED God after when i realise why He never agreed in the first place. Have patience and i'll give you a lesson that our cleaning lady from work gave me that has changed my life: she said TAKE IT TO GOD AND LEAVE IT THERE! God Bless

Assalamoalaikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraqatuhu
May peace, blessings and mercy of Allah be on all of you.
******************************************************
Our all prayers are not fulfilled by Allah (swt) because:
1. You may dislike a thing which is good for you (2:216)
The reply to this question is given in the Glorious Qur’an in Surah Baqarah chapter 2 verse 216:
“But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows, and you know not.”
2. Praying for a motor cycle.
There may be a very pious person who prays to Allah (SWT) for a motor cycle but the prayer is not answered. Allah knows very well that if the person acquires a motor cycle he will have an accident and get crippled. The Qur’an rightly says you may love a thing which is bad for you but Allah knows and you know not.

Personally, I believe sometimes God wants us to work an issue out for ourself, rather than asking Him to do all the work for us. Sometimes God says NO, but it never hurts to ask.
Sometimes what is not said tells us more than any words ever could.
