Is it easy to change out the grip on a Ruger GP100 revolver? can anyone give me some pointers on how to do this?

Don't have one of those, nice.

Check out the parts page from Ruger, at the bottom of the page the parts are shown. Go easy on them screws.

Yes they are easy to change. 1 screw and the factory grip comes right off. Some of the replacements are 1 piece some are 2 pieces. The 1 piece ones just slide on from the bottom, the screw goes back and you are done. One thing to note though. The older factory grips also have a groove in them that holds a take down pin, don't lose the pin. The pin is used to hold the tension on the mainspring for disassembly. It has no function in the day to day operation of the revolver, but you still don't want to lose the pin.
