Why don't you just download a small program called vcdgear, go to the setting for converting bin/cue file to mpeg, load the bin file into it and extract it to a place of your choice. It takes about 2mins to do a large movie file and you should end up with a mpeg file which you should be able to play on most things.

Bin files can be one of two things they can either be some type of linux binary or they are just like an .iso file, a CD image. If you got a bin file it might have come with a .cue file too.

You probably have something that is called "image". Images are
straight "copies" from (generally)dvd and cd disks. You need software called "daemon tools"

http://www.daemon-tools.cc

this software makes you a virtual dvd drive and then mounts the image to the drive, just as you had the original dvd inside your dvd drive.

Usually with .bin files comes also .cue files. If this is the case, use the .cue file.

EDIT: DO NOT USE stuffit expander or any other decompressors with this file if it is image of a movie dvd, or it usually wont work.

This is called a Binary file, sort of like a ZIP file.

Get StuffIt Expander (free) to view and extract the contents.

.bin files are binary files, not media files. Why would you want to play one? I can't see what wmp would do with a .bin file.
