No, why would I give a bad rating if it's a good answer? Talk about lazy, all you need to do is scroll.

Not always. Some of the times I realise that the naswer is just a cut & paste. In that case I just pass to the next. However, there are some good long original answers. These normally come at the bottom of all the other answers.

That's an odd way to handle a long answer .... since you have to scroll down to the bottom of the answer to give it a bad rating anyway lol

I don't give them bad ratings, I just don't read the long answers unless I'm really interested, same for to long questions, which arn't really questions, but a dream description.

No I don't give bad ratings but I grow bored and find myself passing then over. I like answers that are shorter but not to short, that answer the question.

Sometimes. Some people need to learn that brevity is an art.
I always thumbs-down an answer that simply links someone to a Wikipedia article.

Definitely. No one has the time or patience to type that kind of stuff out. It's a copy-paste job. It deserves the low rating it gets if it takes up half of the damn page.

I don't give bad ratings, I can't make it thru some of them! I'm sorry to admit I usually just skip over them. I'm into that instant gratification thing and have no patience......sigh....

If they are actual answers I do read them.
If they are just something that was copied and pasted from something else like the bible I ignore them.
