oh means its a sick joke.
sometimes they say love is more than an emotion, its a state of mind.
so i think love is a sick joke, and the combination of things that happened and failed to happen leaves me more cynical than before. ultimately, one has to walk alone in this journey called life.

I think you mean "unsaved loved ones". I'd heard this expression used when a Christian is speaking about people they love who are not Christians.
