not all psychics have the gift, but those that do are amazing.
i don't know where you got the idea that talking to a psychic would open a door for evil. it's not true.
their gift does not come from satan. they don't get their power from demons.
keep an open mind.

Not necessarily, but it does seem like a gamble. Consider where the "information" given by psychics comes from. Supposedly, it comes from the spirital dimension, which psychics claim to be able to "tune into".
Personally, I consider fortune telling to be a form of cheating. Knowing the future can influence your actions, and actually cause you to act in a way which you would not normally act...hoping to either avoid or ensure the prediction.
I consulted a tarot card reader with a question once (I was asked to simply THINK about my question, and not say it out loud) The response was a DIRECT answer to my question, and it led me to a suicide attempt. In hindsight, I wish I had never asked the "fortune teller".
On a positive note, it led me back to a religious path which appears to be responsible for some major changes in my life.
I would recommend not letting anyone "spoil the movie" for you by giving you insider knowledge. Enjoy the mystery of the coming day and savor life to the best of your ability without utilizing artificial means.
Peace

Psychics aren't 'evil' at all nor do demons exist. Ponder on the fact that evil is also in the eye of the beholder.

No - but you may be opening doors for charlatans to drain your bank account.
There are many "psychics" out there who are just reading your reactions and saying what you want to hear. Others are just lucky guessers who think they are psychic.
One of my best friends is a so-called psychic and she's never got a single prediction right with me.

Uggg... no.Though I suggest you take anything you hear from a psychic with a grain of salt. Demons and the like are something only of the Christian imagination and have nothing to do with reality.

i'm a christian, and i have been to about 4. i know that is wrong. well i know that now. would i go again? no. experience has taught me that no-one can predict your life...only God. but since you arnt really religious, i would say this: i'm not too sure i agree with the letting demons in bit. although that might explain all the negatives in my life lately...hmmm...rather dont go. just let life happen!

Let us put it this way: the road to God is littered with psychic powers.
Psychics and psychic powers abound. It is entirely your choice to play around with them. While some psychics may claim to get you anything you want, all psychic powers can only distract you on your journey home to God (all of us are on that journey, whether we know it or not).
So would you rather continue the journey or would you like to amuse yourself with side attractions?

Yes.. It's like playing with the Ouija Board. You are opening up your spirit to them.
Psychics (not the fake ones) draw upon familiar spirits (talked about in the Bible). These familiar spirits are called "familiar" because their role is to know vast amounts of knowledge about certain persons, things, events, etc.
They will even pretend to be your long lost dead grandpa. That is part of their role.

Of course not, psychics won't draw demons to you. Fear will, though.
