ok,i am 13 years old nd this boy frm my school who is 16 years old is my really good frnd.he has a lot of girls telling him tat they love him nd he shares all tat wit me.he is my best frnd now,we chat everytime he is online and we never run out of topics.we can read each others minds nd we r totally alike.now,this boy has never lied to me before nd after 3 months of frndship he was sounding really tensed today and he was telling me tat he wnted to tell me some thing but he is realy tensed to say it.nd i cnt believe it but he said this-listen..........i donno tht wen i strted likin u and now i strted loving u........3 days wen i dont talk to u it feels as if ages have gone and i want to talk to u....and i always have a smile while talkin to u.......i donno y mishael i am changing and tht change is tht i love u....seriously n ths is no joke......

I remember when I was 13 and I thought I was in love too. 13 is waaayyyy to young to be in love.(maybe puppy love ) which is sweet and feels like it's real. He's too old for you. With all thoses girls after him, he sounds like he's sexual active. Don't let him talk you into ANYTHING sexual.If you don't ," DO IT," he'll have more respect for you. I bet some of those girls have had sex with him. He's not with them now. He probably just used them for sex.Just stay his friend,That way, he can't dump you and you can continue to enjoy each others company. Alot of guys dump a girl after they have had sex with them. Believe me, that would be one of the biggest mistakes you'd ever make and you'd regret it and there is nothing you could do about it. You've got plenty of time to start dating. By just talking and getting to know him better, you'll learn a little something about how guys think? What's going on in their head? This can help you later when you really are dating and then you'll know when you're really in love with someone.Good luck13. Enjoy being 13 while you can. You only have a year.

It's much more fun to have boyfriend when u're already in senior high school, not in junior one.
Beside, i think everybody (in this case 'u') should know how it feels to refuse a love sometimes :)
U're still very young. Find more friends. If u date him, many guys wont approach u... . Trust me.. there's very many guy u can see out there, u need to see them, u can not just see this 'one n only' boy. wait till u get more mature so u are not telled a lie easily.
A proverb says: 'Don't trust ur heart to a boy, but a man'
If he can wait till u're ready, that means he really love u. U can still be friend with him
Remember: If u both are tied by read threads, no matter how, u will always be together forever

If you love him then tell him, but know that if you become boyfriend and girlfriend and break up later that you might not be friends anymore. Think about how you would feel if you were not friends anymore, and decide from there what to do. Love, however can be also expressed through friendship, and there is always time to date later when you are sure that it's what you want, so take your time and do not rush into anything. Good luck

That is nice, but you are very young to be tying yourself down to one person. Take your time. Definitely wait to have sex with him, and when you decide to, use protection. You don't need a baby before you finish school and have a career.
Don't tell him that you love him until you are very sure. Love is not a word anyone should say unless they actually mean it. Sometimes we mistake passion, caring, and crushes for love. You can definitely tell him that you really care for him a lot. Just say that it is hard to know what love is because you have never experienced it before. Tell him that when you are sure, you will tell him, and it will mean much more than just words.

I wouldn't say you love him, 16 is maybe a little too old for you, alot of guys that age use younger girls just for sex then dump them the next day. Id be careful, you could maybe suggest you went out to the movies or something... & see how it goes from there. Don't let him make you do anything you dont want to though.

You need to really look deep in yourself and work out if you really like him in that way, or if you really only want him to be your friend.
If you would like to take things further I say go for it, a lot of relatioships start as friendships first! However, if you only want him as a friend you must tell him straight away, the longer you keep him hanging on the harder it will be.

If you didn't know right away whether or not you loved him when he told you he did, then you're not. You shouldn't feel obligated to reciprocate those feelings. I'm sure you love him, but just as your best friend, that's why you're feeling this conflict.
