How about just eating less? You eat less, therefore you will buy less food, thereby saving money.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

It is a for sure way. It is mathmatically how you lose weight and then maintain it (Calories and exercise calculated into a customized formula just for your body). There is also a great forum and it also tracks things like fiber and vitamins and fats. But be careful about diets. Diets are temporary - you need to make a lifestyle change.

eating less doenst work. eating those losing weight meal doesnt work as well. try to think for long term. if you want to keep fit forever find a eating habit which u can stick with forever. for me the secret is calorie counting. i eat as normal ppl do ..but i eat less of high calorie food. there is so many nice food that taste good and is also low in calorie. try fish, meat and vege. drink lesser bottle juices, avoid sugary food ( cake, cookies, ice cream ,chocolates, ) and most important drink 3 litters of water everyday...this works very slow for me...but i maintain my weight at the lowest rate so far. so it works ..but if you think in few months the answer it NO. it takes from 1 year on wards.

okay not try this,
eat the soup diet and cabbage diet and then after you do, eat a grapefruit, then,
exercise and keep an active life style all the time you can, like walking or running or jogging or bike riding and do that by setting up right and putting you set a little higher. and take longer rides up hill.
you can do it my friend.
