I have always had this condition where abour 20 minutes or so after I drink water, I always feel "choky" and throw up. I have switched to bottled water (for purity) and always drink it at room temperature because cold water hurts my stomach. What could possibly be wrong with me?

It could be many things actually. Do you drink a lot of water at time? There is condition called water intoxication that causes vomiting after drink too much. It could also be water poisoning which you said you switched to bottled so no worry for that. I would suggest going to your doctor and ask him or her. Its is not good to lose to much water out of your system for fear of dehydration. Good Luck!

Do you only have this problem with water and how much do you drink at a time? I am not a doctor but I would be worried about a stomach disorder if this happens with substances other than water. Ask you doctor.

Did you drink too much water or did you drink just a small amount. This could be dehydration and that's not good.

Pls see your dr about this. I would recommend seeing a gastroenterologist (drs that treat diseases and disorders of the stomach and intestines) to see if they can help you figure this out. Start with your primary care physician if you have the kind of insurance that requires one to do so.
