Christians have a warped sense of reality, especially evangelicals.

Jesus died on the cross when nailed because He was snointed by God to save us from our sins and he suffered for the sake of us human sinners.

And as a consequence, we Christian people are ready to die for the sake of Christ, our Savour.

We were not twisted or warped on our beliefs, you know it yourself

That's a tricky question. Jesus' main purpose for coming down in human form was to die for all sinners...not just Christians...everyone. At the same time, Jesus says (In Matthew 5:10-12) "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven". Later on he also says something along the lines of "those who deny me before man, so shall I also deny before my father"...don't know where, I'm tired and don't feel like looking it up. I guess my answer would be both, but with much more of an emphasis of Christ dying for mankind.

Wow! You ask a question but you already have pegged Christians as warped. That doesn't seem reasonable to me. But to answer your question, Jesus is God manifest in the flesh who will one day be your judge so maybe it is time for you to thank Him for dying in your place. If I could get to Heaven by any other way, what was the purpose of the Lord's death? Thank you for your question.

Jesus did not die for anybody. In fact he is not dead yet. He will return someday and Proclaim and Establish The Truth. Islam. When he does that, you know what the Christians will say ? He is the false Christ. The same they said about Muhammad, they will say about Jesus. God save them !

I don't necessarily call myself an evangelical but I am a Christian.

Jesus died for my sins. I will pass from this life, but expect to inherit eternal life because of the death and resurrection of Christ.

If that makes me warped I am proud to be warped. How about you?

Jesus can do whatever he wants. If he chooses to die for us, what business is it of yours to judge him or try to paste fictional motives on him?

(Tell me again, who has a warped sense of reality? For me, it's someone who hates life and the world so much that they can't wait to find fault in others to make themselves feel better.)

Mate, dont get caught up in rhetoric. Dont sweat the small stuff. It will not help you or your frustration or anger or injustice or unforgiveness or the unfair situation in your life. Jesus is the son of man. Chist is the son of God. Jesus Christ is the messiah. He is Spirit. You connect to Him via your spirit. I bet you do not know how becasue your spiritual antenna have been hidden from you although its in you. He says "come to ME all you who are heavily burden, and I will give you Rest !"

Yes, Jesus did die for us, and yes, we are to die in his name, for by so doing, we will also rise again, in his name.

Don't put all Christians together.
Some are, and some aren't.
God knows who is, and who's saved.

We live and die as Christians accepting
Jesus Christ as our Savior, he shows us
the way to God.
