Which is the best file archiver program and the most used?

Winzip,WinRar seem to be dominant but there are several others as well, which one is the best, which one is the most used worldwide so that if I send compressed files to someone else, he might too be having the same File Archiver Utility software and will have no problem unpacking it . Question is divided into two parts- Best File Archiver Software and Most used File Archiver Software

I would not accept the above persons view..

It Depends upon what you want...

Winrar is good...but not the free version as the above person have given...

Most used = Winzip, Why? Because it's built into XP

Best Archiver = the one that best suits your needs.

IZArc (my Fav), 7-Zip, and a host of others, all do a good job. Try them and decide for yourself!
