So, I've got 7zip, but for some reason or another, whenever I try to download somethin', it usually stops before the download in complete.
Why does it do that? Is there something wrong with it, or is my computer just being stupid?

If you have Norton installed, it's probably blocking the download site.
If not, Internet Explorer could be the culprit.
Try Firefox.

there is no problem with your file compression program, better to check your software because there is a problem with your software inside the registry,one thing for sure,you need to use an application that use to download files or application, like, download manager,lime wire,bear share,and other freeware software, from which you didnt cut the downloading.

first try to download from another site like www.download.com
if still having same problem then get a download manager like
IDM

It's most likely your IE at fault. Try to restore it to a previous settings.
