Flickering problem with old game in XP?

Question

I decided to take a trip down memory lane and install The 7th Guest on my computer. I have the updated version for Windows 95.

Anyway, it works fine on my computer, except for this flickering problem whenever I move around a room in the game. I've adjusted the color settings on my computer, I run it in compatibility mode for 95 and I've tried it in 256 colors, but it won't stop flickering. I've even mounted it as an iso and it's still doing this.

It's no big deal if I can't fix it, I have a 98 box it runs fine on, but it would still be kinda nice if I could get this figured out. I'm stumped, anybody have any suggestions?

I'm amazed it would even run.

In my experience,most Win95 programs crash on XP.
