Edit/ addition
The others may be correct, if animal is intact you can breed it (but this is discouraged) yet not register the offspring.
In my case I neutered the dog(s) before selling or giving to a new home. Responsible breeders will make sure you can't breed the dog if the traits are not desirable.

I'm not sure why I don't find this answer on AKC site,
however I know it because I bred and registered two litters and several other dogs.
Limited Registration means you can register the dog, he/she is full blooded Whatever breed, but the breeder has decided this dog should not have offspring.
If you are considering a dog with limited registration, ask the breeder why the limitation.
It could be as simple as poor coloring or the dog is a little too large (or small) according to the breed standard. For instance, if a breeder has a dog 1 inch taller than allowed for showdog, and knows the ancestors tend to be extra tall, it's bad "for the breed" to let this dog have offspring.
If the body type of the dog is a little different from the breed standard, such as a narrow chest in a Labrador, or a dog with too long or short a neck for breed, the breeder would limit them from breeding.
In Dalmatians:
a "patch" or solid blob of color, like one of the Dalmatian pups in the cartoon had over eye and ear, disqualifies Dal from competing in shows, and is not wanted in the breed.
These dogs are still quality animals and will make great pets. Plus, you can get them for less.
Hope this helps.

Limited Registration means you cannot breed the dog, if you go ahead and go against the contract, none of the puppies can be registered. Full registration means that once you do all your health testing and the dog is breeding quality ( evaluated by someone who knows ) then if you feel the need to help with pet over population you can or have the right to breed your dog. Not likely a good idea, but that's what the differences are.

limited means you arent allowed to breed your dog. it looks like your looking to buying from a breeder which they would probably also require you to spay/neuter the dog within a year. look into their sale contract.
A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration shall be ineligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. These events include: Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility and Earthdog.
So if you plan on beingin dog shows, limited registrations is not for you.

Limited registration means that if you should happen to breed your dog the litter/puppies can't be registered and you can't show your dog in conformation at shows. Limited registration is used by breeders who sell a dog as pet only and on spay/neuter contracts.

Limited registration means they are being sold as a pet. If you fail to get your dog spayed/neutered any pups it produces cannot be registered.
With Limited Registration, they cannot compete in confirmation, but can participate in other AKC events such as agility, flyball, field trials...
Full Registration dog is being sold with breeding rights. Pups produced can be registered and can compete in all AKC events, unless it has a disqualifying fault.

For starters,it means you're dealing w/a RESPONSIBLE & CARING breeder!!!
Limited registration(WHY didn't you ask the breeder?) means that the animal may NOT be entered in CONFORMATION classes at show-performance events are fine & NOT be bred from! Offspring of such will NOT be registerable.
PS:"tanya" is a PUPPYMILL WANNABE!
