how do you know....cheating related?

how do you know if a guy is cheating on you,especially a bf? are there ne signs that should be considered red flags? if so can someone tell me some of the signs?does losing intimacy mean that he is cheating or does it mean that the relationship sucks?ne help would be great!

i dont trust him ne more after he bullshited me and my family:him and i transferred to the same university-coincidence wise- yet he would not tell me what univerity he would attend in fall of 2006.he did not tell me for 3 months and that is when i broke up with him as well as personal reasons.when we got back together-fall 2006- he tells me about this friend of his named jessica and how buddy buddy they are and then all of a sudden he takes her side vs. my side and says that when i stop calling her a ***** and whore then he will stop being rude to my sister.then on the top of that jessica invites me to a Halloween party but i had plans w/ friends and he said no on my behalf since that is what i told him yet he e-mailed jessica and said that i would not go and when i changed my mind about attending the party he would not help me out:he says that he could not do nething and that is BS on his behalf!looked thru his cell yet i know that he has her # and AIM and e-mail address.what da hell

but he says that they are just friends.back home live not even 20-25 min max away from each other.he always denied cheating on me yet i dont know what to believe ne more:he could be telling the truth and i could not tell the difference from a lie.=not that i am naive=but because of things i have learned about him.i dont know that girls number and he could be hiding it under someone else's name for all that i know.

A good bf or gf will be dedicated enough to listen, participate, laugh and share. He/she shall not have a dodgy attitude by avoiding you from a call he/she receives or by being afraid of sharing information/gadgets with you - Address books, phone etc.
